let's talk about skyrim!

You charge any staff with a filled Soul Gem. You'll find these randomly around the world, purchased from shopkeepers, or obtained if you capture an enemy's soul using the Soul Trap spell. Then go into your inventory and hover over the staff. There will be an option down on the bottom to charge the staff, and it will prompt you to use a filled soul gem.

It's been a while since I've played, but I'm pretty sure that's it.

I played the life out of Skyrim when I got it in December of 2014, but haven't played it in a few months. I started to mod it, and got pretty far. I have a bunch installed but I haven't played in so long I'm having trouble finding where I saved SKSE, lol. I forgot pretty much everything mod related in that game.

So my question is: should I just completely restart from scratch? Do a fresh install of Skyrim and just start over with NMM? I didn't use it the first time. I just directly installed the files, which I'm thinking was a mistake...

Any advice?

I don't use nmm, can't stand it lol. I install more all manually. I find it easier and with more control. I have only ever had a few issues that are easy to fix.

starting over is also a great idea. I have an issue with always wanting to start over lolol xD

Thanks. The other day I went to Arcadia's Cauldron and stole a bunch of stuff from her. (My morals aren't that good, but she should have noticed me; I was right behind her. ) I got a Petty Soul Gem.

Any tips on defeating The Pale Lady? I am planning on waiting until I am least level 10 before I go back to the Frostmere Depths.

No tips here. I haven't done that quest in a long time, sorry.

And NPC's in Skyrim are so unobservant.

Yes, Delphine, that was a dragon we just killed. Isn't that proof enough that I'm Dragonborn? Why does it have to be one specific dragon one one specific city that proves it to you?

As soon as I exited the Sleeping Giant Inn, a dragon appears. I guess Delphine missed the fact that I did just absorb the soul and continued on to Kynesgrove like nothing happened...

On a sidenote, I found a site that is willing to sell me Skyrim: LE for a ton of "computer work".. Unfortunately, I have only been able to complete about 10% of the work in about 4 weeks..
On another sidenote: what is this Reputation meter on my xBox Live profile that says that I am a good player..? (I am logged into xBox Live on my computer.. I haven't had an xBox in about 2-3 years.. )
