Anybody else noticed that the LLO is surely but surely dying? It seems everybody is leaving the LLO and EMC itself now and we're growing smaller and smaller. Then, i've noticed, people leave locked chests and stuff and leave them behind, which is a reason why we're putting those locked chest 'lost & found' thingies up (it's 11 o'clock at night, don't judge me) Also, the reason of my absence? My internet, over the past month or so, has gone to hell. Over the past week it's started to improve, but it's not good enough to play EMC - hence my inactivity on the servers. It's fast enough to view webpages, but not to download files. I'd really like to get back to playing multiplayer again, but right now, whenever I can get good enough internet to play, I have to turn my attention to a server i'm administrator and developer on. I don't know when my internet will become good enough to play - probably when all of the crap in the room my router's in is cleared up - but I will return eventually. Now, can anyone fill me in on anything i've missed? I said I couldn't go in-game, I didn't say I couldn't be involved with the LLO.
Sadly... ;( But I think we should be able to find some way to launch the LLO back to the way it was. And I think that way is having zulu on...
So, I punched a hole in the wall at bridge height. Until I see the bridge deck, I won't know how high to make the opening. Also I used cobble which we'll want to replace. There is a bit of smooth stone in the chests as well as some other supplies. I stacked all the iron in the locked chest into blocks for tighter storage.
20 stacks of stone slabs, 1 normal chest of stone, and 6 stacks of wooden fence coming your way. I just need a location to place the stuff? Also, those redstone torches, netherbrick, cobble, and wool will be in the next shipment.
You can make it as high as you want. The cables will stop at around -783, so as long as a minecart can get through, any height will do. Thanks for compacting the iron.

First delivery made it safely to the camp, made a new locked chest. Small change in said delivery, it's 26 stacks of stone, 5 stacks of wooden fence, 16 stacks of stone slab, 2 stacks of blue wool, 2 stacks of nether brick and 1 enderchest, wasn't sure if there was one already. I'll be returning to ready the second batch.
What I mean by dying is that we're too big for our current members to handle. We're smaller than we were back in August 2012, and if we get another big fire griefing then the LLO will probably have had its run. I really, really don't want to see something like that happen, though. We need another LLO event, not the Olympics, something else.

The second day of my travels haven't had a good start… Hopefully this person has been banned or the staff can track down who wrote these signs.
If you could bring some cobblestone too, that would be great. I am thinking about making a change to my design. Instead of requiring 10 stacks of cobblestone slabs, it will now require 30 stacks (this will also decrease the amount of smooth stone needed by about 10%).
FYI, it just took me 2 minutes 48 seconds to get from my treehouse in the jungle to town. This was running and using the nether, but I wouldn't call it a speed run. I even got turned around in the nether for a little while. So, I better not hear any more complaints about how long it takes to get to town! BTW, I'm going to make some quicker exit points in the nether for returning to town that would cut this time in half...
