  1. Another thing i'd like to point out is the eerie lack of people at the temporary base. In my last 10 logins over the past 5 days or so, I have seen just 2 people at the site. A project with the ambition present here would flatline easily if such a lack of commitment were to continue, why aren't people at the base?
  2. I thought we were told not to go there. That they hadn't made a final decision on where we were going to start building.
  3. The project has actually moved, you can go there :)
  4. Where is the new location?
  5. L0tad knows, he hasn't told me.
  6. It is just fine that there is a core group that works on the initial design. There is nothing undemocratic with that.
This initial design of the constitution should be presented along with explanations of core intentions where necessary.
The core group also needs to take care of technicalities.
It would be good that the core group can then receive some feedback on it from interested public and has some time to polish it.
After it is accepted and enacted, it can be amended and of course everyone has a say.
Also, I think it would also be good to schedule a call for amendment propositions right away.
It is important to show that the core group cares, and that the system is set up to care that every citizen "has a say" and is treated equally from the constitutions point of view.

  7. Yup. Agreed!
  8. Pioneers, please come out to the temporary base, directions are in the OP of the convo!
By the way, I'm making the government treasury in Singleplayer Creative, what should I put in it? Keep in mind, the treasury's purpose is to execute the Neorepublican economic policy and public finance.
  9. MAKE IT BIG ENOUGH!
Remember to include office space (for the Neorepublican economists), a large vault with a lot of storage space (To store materials to strengthen our currency) as well as a sweet entrance to the building, it can really imrpove a persons impression of the structure.

*also board rooms, gotta get 'dem boardrooms.
  10. I'm thinking of making a combined vault shared by the Treasury and the Central Bank. Each government building is the same basic size and shape, they vary in height, being built as high as needed. I don't really understand why office space is required, the economists can do their work significantly better outside of Minecraft. Boardrooms will be put in and entrances can be worked on later.

  11. Just a thought, is it wise to put all of the valuables into one place? Wouldn't that make a griefers job easier?

  13. Offices are useful for storing ones items that they may only need while at the treasury, such as a book.
  14. Fair enough.
  15. flip loads of text but sounds cool
  16. id like to come out and see what you guys got, and how much space you are using up, this is all for my own outpost so i wont be building or breaking anything
  17. Well, so far we have a temporary base, the idea is quite complex :)
  18. have you like plotted out the land you are going to occupy? maybe put some signs for what is going to go where? also do you have plans for what is going to go where lol
  19. Okay, I'm making the Foreign Offices in the sketch, anyone have any suggestions as to what should be in them?
Also, here's my progress on the prototype government buildings.

L0tad hasn't told me yet, he's the main logistical manager :)
  20. UGH NO. Could someone come on quick and retrieve my items? I died on the frozen lake, and my bed was missing :(
