I'm about to make use of this feature. Is it possible to set weather to have lightning? Edit: I googled it and found that lightning occurs during rainfall, so I'll give it a go. I was under the impression lightning could happen without rain.
You will not get lightning. Since lightning is an entity - and is only going to be generated during real rain. This fake weather isn't real rain.
So making it rain in town has no effect on the odds of catching a fish, and making it snow doesn't lead to accumulation?
That's unfortunate! At one point, I suggested that and even making it rain constantly at mudhut to incentivize actually going to the designated fishing residence to fish - a pair of suggestions I still stand by. Although I can at least understand snow not accumulating in town; snow farms really should be a thing of the wild.
I asked a few years back.... but any idea if we could export shop transactions to a .csv file to more better analyze pricing and selling of items? I feel like this would be a really powerful tool.
Hey there. I understand the desire for such a feature. It is simply not a possibility under the current technical setup of EMC. It is not a never. But other changes would need to happen to serve up such a sizable hunk of data.
Have you tried ShavingFoam's Shopkeeper application? It doesn't look like it's been updated for a few years and might not work correctly for items which have been added or changed, but you may be able to use it for your purposes. (Not sure how I missed this when it was posted) but it would be cool if there was a third option of "Auto" or something, which lets the weather cycle run regardless of the world. Since the weather is permanently clear in town. I can see more use for occasional rain than permanent rain. Very cool features though, thanks Dev Team!
