  1. Wow, that's cool! Thanks for sharing. :D What a barren landscape!

  2. I expected the sports car in front of the school, but instead, I got this one. Not the car I was expecting, but I decided to share it with you guys anyways. :3

While I'm not that interested in cars, I can acknowledge a good-looking car when I see one! :D
  3. Snapped a photo of my brothers rubicon when I was visiting last week, thought I'd share with ya

  4. Gottem!

The person who works at the school in the morning happened to be in today, so I took my phone out and captured these images of their car before I continued on my walk. :D

There's a different driver who loves to disturb the peace with their insanely loud engine... Getting a picture of this car is going to be hard since they love to break the speed limit in a residential area...

But for now, let's just call this driver "Mr. Blue". :)
  5. Good on you to obscure the license plate. :)
  6. Hoping to spend a month or more annually in my home town, so located myself a new ride to keep here, save on rentals and much more enjoyable drive.
Its an older (2010) Challenger, 5.7l Hemi, 6-speed manual trans. Only has 23000 miles so very nice condition overall.
  7. Doesn't have the dreaded lifter tick?
  8. Nope, just the rumble from the dual exhaust
  9. That is very saucy, I like it! Good choice there!

  10. I got this yesterday... it's a 2000 Ford Ranger EV. An electric truck! Ford made 1,400 of these, but crushed about 1,000 (look up "who killed the electric car" for more information about that). I couldn't believe it when I saw it for sale on Facebook Marketplace, so I just had to buy it.

1998 and 1999 model years had lead-acid batteries (the same chemistry in current 12v batteries), and 2000-2002 models had NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) batteries (used for hybrid batteries today). Surprisingly, this one still runs with its original battery, and it still gets at least 50 miles of range... I would need to test it to be sure.

See more pictures of it here

  11. Huh, that's really interesting!
I didn't even know electricity powered cars had existed for so long.
    Thanks for sharing!
I also made an edit to the opening of the article. I might not've done it completely to Wikipedia's guidelines, but the opening link had been red for a year, which is quite bad. :p

  12. Here in the U.S., the first successful electric car made its debut around 1890 thanks to William Morrison. So yeah, they been around for a long time.

That's all that's left on modern EMC, the old OG thread. Also, I never understood why, and if, it matters if someone revives an old thread to be honest...

  17. I approve of this thread being revived
I am alive (just) and I approve, looks lovely that!

I have done so much with cars in the last few years it would take me an age to go through it all, I update everything on the YouTube channel now that we are a bit bigger though!
