Hello everyone! Spooky season is here! Read on to learn more about the fun things planned for the Empire this month. Community Team Updates Build Team Command blocks are in progress for the fall event build! It will be entering the testing stage soon, and then released later this month. The Build Team has put a lot of hard work into this event, so keep an eye out for it! After the fall event build is released, the team will dive into working on the winter event build! Contribution Team The Contribution Team recently created a new Wiki page for the Labor Day Workstations. The team has also been working on a new blog post about how to keep your Discord account secure! Do you want to help the Empire? Consider joining a Community Team! Click here for more information. Staff Updates The special workbenches released for Labor Day last month will remain available in /shopworld indefinitely! The Senior Staff are looking for new moderators to join the staff team. If you think you would be a good fit for the position, apply here! Do you know somebody who would make a good staff member? Recommend them here! Don't forget to use /report to let staff members know about activity that breaks the rules! Developer Updates Last month the developers worked on bug fixes for mini games on /games. Once the fixes are released, a post will be made on the Games Server Update thread with the details! chickeneer is currently working on creating a link between Discord and in-game EMC accounts. This project is close to completion and will offer a number of useful connections between our discord and EMC data. At first, the connection will be limited to a "Verified" role plus supporter roles. (we are planning on linking a Discord text channel with the in-game supporter chat channel). Other special commands/features are yet to be determined, but we have some cool ideas. The next code update will enable an option to hide individual names from your EMC username history (shown in /p). As implemented, this will be a process which must be requested through an Admin. It was my join month as well!! Different year ofc, as I remember you being staff at that time. Some day I could wind up being an Ancient Katy 😃
