Unfortunately this does not count for both numbers (well, it's not exactly unfortunate, as I made up the rules), so I still cannot post. If I ever do write code to parse this thread and plot activity, we will see a lull here, I bet. Thanks for posting, anyway.
I'm glad to see some activity, but unfortunately, this post is invalid, and thus also kind of invalidates the following posts. (Joy posted 17605, then IronicSwordPlay posted 17606, then Joy posted 17607, while there have to be at least two numbers between every number you post) Here's my choice for 17607!

You consider the invalid 17607 and 16708 to count, then? I suppose you could defend that by referring to the time when we found out we had skipped a few hundred numbers way back, and while we caught up on those didn't redo all the ones we just did after... but in this case it seems such a small effort.
