The economy of the Caliphate is heavily improving. Commerce is at an all-time high, higher than any Middle Eastern country in history. The caliphate is trading with the likes of South America, Asia, Europe and Africa. The Caliphate imports a lot of electronics, computing technologies, cars and trucks, household utilities and many other things, although the Caliphate does produce these themselves, Europe has a greater market for them. Africa exports a lot of resources to the Caliphate that they do not have. Personal businesses in the Sunayyad Caliphate are booming, pottery, rug and textile companies are making a higher living, people have the chances to live off of their own businesses, shops and labour, people aren't constricted to the likes of business elites who own everything, although the oil industry is a very elite business, something which the Caliphate wants to change into a government business. Factories are producing many goods and even military equipment with somewhat good conditions and well pay. Basically, everyone has some sort of job and provides to the Caliphate. Everyone contributes, except for the needy of course. Ships yards are abundant on the coasts, many commercial and military ships are being built and docked around the coastlines and even in allied states. Overall trade is very bountiful and brings a higher Muslim influence on the world.
Caliphate reporters have been denied entry to Ulsan City. However, the spies tell of death and war, thousands dying. The Death Toll is estimated to be at around 10,000, 20 times smaller than the truth. In reality, the massacre has made Ulsan a ghost City. SEU is enraged. By word of mouth, greatly exaggerated tales flow and give rage to the people. Hundreds of Thousands sign up for the Army, so many that SEU cannot feed them all. Elderly, Young, Woman, Man. SEU has had to resort to turning away crowds looking to fight against the murderers. People give their all. Money is raised, and SEU suddenly has a massive War Chest. Innocent Ethnic Japanese are murdered, even when they are in the crowds looking to fight against the savage IJA. Some Ethnic Japanese sign up to fight, and are ordered to be spies. The Japanese have to be protected by the Army. They are more than willing. Indonesia uses this to declare independence and their alliance with the Japanese Empire. India steps in and uses their small Navy to attack Indonesia, who have a very small navy. India has declared War against the Japanese Empire and Indonesia, on the charges of, each respectively "committing horrific crimes against humanity", and "aiding said horrific crimes".
Millions have signed up, and millions fight. The IJA crumbles against an angry people. They resort to killing every single civilian in an effort to stop them from rising up, but the SEU is unstoppable. Chinese soldiers fight with a mad bravery that even the Japanese crumbles against. Koreans who have lost their entire families volunteer as suicide bombers. SEU's monstrous industrial capacity is finally brought to bear, and its full might is unleashed against Japan. However, Japan is just as insane of an Animal. The fight is grueling, long and terrible. Both sides are equally suicidal, but there is a lot more of one side. The Japanese Emperor Hirohito, long willing to tolerate war criminals requests that the war be ended, because Japan is literally running out of men. He becomes a puppet, nothing more. The suicidal bravery of the Japanese is equaled by the Suicidal bravery of Koreans who have nothing left to lose. Indonesia and Malaysia is aiding Japan by sending troops. India and SEU is trying to sink their transports, but they are unsuccessful. Already however, there is internal division among SEU and India on whether to fight Japan or Indonesia first. (HINT: this war is going to go on for a very, very long time.)
The Caliphate, disgusted by the Japanese Imperial Army decides to cut all previous ties with Japan regarding trade and commerce. Malaysia is warned to stop aiding Japan or see an exclusion in an allaince with the Caliphate
Malaysia is smart enough to bail. Indonesia is too afraid of the consequences of being crushed and opts to continue helping Japan. Meanwhile, the fighting continues. India finally gets SEU's help and manages to begin an island hopping campaign around Indonesia.
The Muslim community in the Caliphate wants Indonesia to leave the war and to stop pledging their might to evil and violence... Their pleas don't work.
Indonesia is afraid of SEU's revenge against them. They beg for help from anyone. Backing Japan was a terrible mistake, and if SEU comes for them... Meanwhile, SEU retakes Ulsan. It is ten times worse than anyone could have anticipated. While no one says it, everyone in the SEU knows. Japan will be wiped off the face of the Earth. The Founder sends letter after letter to the lawmakers, begging them to not committ a Genocide. He only just manages to convince them to outlaw mass killings of Japanese. Even despite this, no one is in the mood or want to enforce this. OOC: Anime will exist in this Universe. I shudder at the very thought.
The split between Wahabbism and Musawahism is clearly shown. The House of Saad has begun taking their own rights as a leader of the Island of Bahrain, capitalizing on their own oil companies and improving the economy of the small nation. Wahabbism is a strength there, there is little sign of Socialist ideology, all women are forced to abide by the Hijab laws and lose the rights given to them by the Saalam Law. The Caliph kind of allowed them the Island to make them happy and create their own Wahabbist paradise. This is a grave mistake, the Caliph thinks that he could control the spread of Wahabbism, but he doesn't realize that both the Majmue and Saudis advocate for it and are spreading it fast across the Arabian Peninsula.

The Caliphate has pledged its budget to expand its Navy. Now that various shipyards are able to hold the massive Ninurta, more will be produced. New classes are being produced: Destroyer: The Nile Class 1,850 tons of displacement, 2,663 full load 37 knots of speed 8 x 5 Inch Turk Guns 2 x Bofors 40 mm AA-Guns 2 x .50 Caliber Arabian Guns 6 x 20 mm Bofors Cannons 8 x 21-Inch Torpedo Tubes 2 x Depth Charges A massive upgrade to the Aleppo Destroyer Class, the Nile Class features 8 x 5 Inch Turk guns, while, the Aleppo only has 3 x 4 Inch Turk Guns. The Nile is 5 knots faster than the Aleppo, has better AA guns, more torpedo tubes and a heavier displacement. The Nile is an overall beast compared to the Aleppo and will soon outclass it very quickly. 16 are planned to be made while the Aleppo is planned to be sold off to other nations. This means a Tigris Battle Cruiser is on the horizon... 1 year to make, 12 will be built in Tigris River Shipping yard. Note: Seeing the words Turk Guns, Arabic Guns, etc. just means that they were produced by factories specific to that region or company. Conditions in Caliphate ships are fairly comfortable. Conditions aren't cramped but arent spacious, living quarters are expected to be maintained and cleaned very well, as well as the decks, rations are somewhat nutritious and plentiful, the crew is well trained and are known for having high morale on these ships.
The CAF has failed as a power, subsequently falling as soon as they got up. (I talked with Gaming_Comande, he definitely isn't coming back to this game) As such circumstances have presented themselves, the Caliphate sends a fleet of ships, with the Euphrates at their head to visit the Canadians. As time has shown, Canada has become a distant voice in the world, although still participating in some International affairs, their progress has been drowned out. Same with the United States, they do indeed show that they exist, but to what extent? North America has lost the potential to be what it should have been, all of West America is covered in ash, it will take thousands of years before it is finally brought back to normal, but all of the inhabitants have died there anyway. The caliphate visits Ontario and splendours at their strange and cold climate, something the Islamic visitors are not used to. They then indulge in trade with the Ontario peoples and decide to build an Embassy in Ottawa once the time is right. They exchange details and consult on the ideas of colonialism, trade and business. The Caliphate doesn't hide what they plan to do in the future, they plan on spreading their influence a bit farther, but that first comes with agreeing to construct dozens of Mosques in East Canada. OOC: I don't know if it should be fair to colonize the St. Lawrence rivers or New Found Land, but I think it would be interesting as in history Muslim Conquest has never left the same area. The development of the radar is going well, and is expected to be finished next year. The exact uses of it is unknown for now. Assasination on *insert genaric leader name here*: Yesterday there was an attempt to take *genaric leader's name* life. This is seen as an act of terrorism and multiple people were arrested and sentenced to death. These men put a bomb at the leader's house. This makes the SNE up defenses around political leaders and now are checking the mail. This seems like a rebellion is happening and an investigation is now happening to identify suspects of rebellion. The starting of a special forces and investigation/intelligence squad is now happening. The names of these organizations are unknown. Only the most elite soldiers and most skilled detectives/spies are being recruited. This is do to the recent threats of terrorism
The Caliphate begins work on the concept of flame throwing. Used in WW1 by the Germans, it seems to have been ignored ever since. A new handheld model has been conceived though, and it is known as the Lahab 15. It has an effective firing range of 30 meters, weighs 76 pounds and holds 20 litres of fuel in two nitrogen cylinder tanks. It is ideal for desert combat and has been tested many times. Various other prototypes will definitely be made, and a more effective system will obviously replace it sooner or later. Flamethrowers are also being used on tanks The last W model prototype has been created, the W-3. It's a much faster tank than the previous 3, boasting better speed, transmission, suspension and maneuverability than the last two, but pales in comparison to the W-2's armour and gun. (These tanks are kind of like meshes between really early British cruisers and early American tanks) The W series is expected to be discontinued next year for another even bigger project, the MB series, a series that will actually use effective combat tanks. The Caliphate never invested in tankettes, calling them useless vehicles. The Caliphate has finally finished the first Land-Based Radar model, although not as effective as what the SEU has, it's revolutionary in their own army, paving the way for the future of radar.
The USN and SEUN have promptly arrived to retake the Island. Due to the SEU-USA alliance, SEU is incredibly displeased that the Federation is trying to expand their Pacific strength, and the USA is angry for obvious reasons. The SEUN and USN both have many destroyers and Heavy Cruisers, and the Federation Navy is completely routed.
Yay. SEU's going to annex Kazakhstan and Ukraine sooner or later. It's waiting for the right time. They are more interested in "spreading the Revolution" than "annex everybody else". SEU's creed is taken directly from Karl Marx. "Workers of the World Unite". It is inscribed on his grave.
The Caliphate works on trade with Canada, importing a ton of Timber, food, ores and minerals. The Caliphate secretly wants to annex and colonize Canada, but due to the vast cultural and geographical differences and the fact that the Caliphate doesn't want to piss everyone off, the plan is held off for now, maybe next time.
The Dokrip-Class Destroyer, an old favorite for its cheapness and effectiveness, has undergone major refit. SEU has installed several more AA guns as well as more armor. The 20mm Bofors cannons have been upped to 8, the 40mm Bofors cannons upped to 8, and the 8 5-inch guns already have AA capabilities but these have been improved. It has been produced in such vast numbers that SEU is unwilling to let it go, and it's a very good design. SEU's Fleet Carriers, with their vast size, is also undergoing extensive refit. While they were already reconstructed once and has impressive hull strength as well as damage control, their AA batteries are lacking. In addition, they are inefficient with their launching systems, and that will be improved. (Otus, Aircraft Carriers during that era carried around 70-80, and that's the fleet carriers. Your carriers are nowhere near large enough to carry that many. Yours count as fleet carriers, but they're substantially smaller than SEU's fleet carriers) SEU has ordered the recommissioning of their Revolution-Class Battleships, and the building of 2 Java-Class Battleships to match. To give the ratio needed for the near-fanatical SEU doctrine on Aircraft Carriers, SEU has commissioned another 2.
