  1. The UBR is proud to announce the opening of the Biuro Postępu Technologicznego, or the Office of Technological Progress. This government agency will research, fund, and manage government projects related to the advancement of technology. A group of people with the idea of a machine capable of communicating with other machines over an interconnected network (which they called the "internet" for short) are the first ones to be given a grant.
  2. So commences the Italian Revolution.

The Caliphate establishes greater Industry and Mining in Italy, increasing their mining outputs and increasing their industrialization, leading them to produce machinery and equipment greater than before. The Caliphate also focuses on Italy's food exports on the Sunayyad Empire.

Italy's government is simple, there is a governor and Congress still exists, although Italy's government is a puppet to the Caliphate.

Most people don't agree with the Caliphate's colonization of Italy and want sovereign independence, about 85% want the Caliphate gone, while the remaining 15% see the Caliphate's rule as a save for their possible fall after breaking from the EFJ. In Italy, although the population is contained with military force, riots and protests still break out, people divide themselves and some resort to violence.

During an event which was broadcasted in Newspapers, a massive violent protest happened in the streets of Rome. Walls were spray painted with Anti-Islamic imagery, and people began throwing rocks at the Caliphate soldiers. The riot got so bad to the point where a Caliphate blockade was broken and they were charged by an Italian Resistance with weapons, some with guns but most with machetes, makeshift clubs and spears. They were shot down and eventually were contained. In the entire riots, 80 protesters were killed, and only 2 Caliphate soldiers were killed.

Then Mussolini comes in, he surprises the people of his return, and once again brings Fascism to Italy. The country is split between 3 sides, The Vatican Resistance, The Fascist Party and Caliphate apologetics.

The Vatican Resistance was supported by the Vatican City, slandering Islam and calling for people to fight in God's name to get rid of the Jihadists. The Fascist Party is the biggest movement, calling for an end to the Islamic Caliphate style of rule and the introduction of Fascism; Mussolini is very charismatic, most of the people don't know what they're getting into, or just because there is no other option. Then there is the Caliphate Apologetics and the "Other" side. A Minority, but these people generally support Caliphate rule. They don't use violence but reasoning, stating the Caliphate is only there to make Italy a grand nation. Everyone seems to hate Caliphate Apologetics, to the point where many are killed for their beliefs.

    Basically in short form:

The Vatican Resistance: Wants to remove Caliphate rule for religious reasons
The Fascist Party: Wants to remove Caliphate rule for political, independence and nationalist reasons.
Caliphate Apologetics: Believes the Caliphate is only there to make Italy better.

With this oppression, the Caliphate's plans to industrialize Italy are failing to the point where people are almost forced to work. At least the people who don't resist make relatively good money, resisters don't and are more so forced to work.
  3. Sydney, there isn't even such a thing as computers yet, much less an internet. Even if there was computers, they won't be advanced enough for another 50+ years to create an Internet.
  4. The SEU has backed the Socialists who want to create their own party. India is not happy, but they dislike Fascism and so they do nothing.
The Socialists are coming into active conflict and battle with both the Fascists and the Vatican Resistance, particularly the Fascists. Other Fascists parties are cropping up in other parts of Europe, advocating a takeover of the World by Superior Europeans and the subjugation of Asian Races. Needless to say, India and SEU want them defeated.
  5. The Federation has decided that they are going to become the worlds biggest producer of food but to do this the need ships to defend themselves so The Federation is starting research for a new destroyer and a Battleship

They will be making 10 each to bring the ship count total to 30
  6. We need Fascists.
Would you be willing to engineer a Fascist-Racist takeover of your nation?
  7. I Think TBF would be a perfect spot, considering Mussolini refugeed thereafter EFJ kicked them out and then came back.
  8. We need most of Western Europe, TBF, and one more nation, preferably the CNE/soon-to be SNE to join the Fascists. They need Oil, and the Caliphate should let them annex Libya for this purpose (let them find oil there they need it). The Caliphate should be able to mobilize and harness a good portion of Muslim Africa.
  9. I don't really like the idea of anyone having North Africa, I want it to be an entire border connecting from Morocco all the way to Egypt. Either the Caliphate can just sell them oil, or there could be a war where they both split resources, so half/half...

    Also, here's map: https://i.imgur.com/gWJPfoh.png

I changed it so Japan isn't SEU and etc.
  10. The Socialist Union of Eurasia is beginning negotiations with India to end this war and work together, because Fascism is spreading across Europe and it could be heavily problematic for then Socialist Cause. Many of the Fascists blame their problems on Islam and Asians, and a weird Austrian man in the CNE is taking power and declaring Asians are all to blame for the current world situation. The Fascists want their Empires back, and the newly independent Colonies are not eager.
  11. Most of the Landbound Southeast Asian nations have joined the USSR. Unfortunately for SEU, they are part of India's faction. (Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand)
Also, World War 2 is going to be a three-way mess and no one can tell me otherwise. They need 1 oil-producing country, everyone else has it. Norway's reserves are inaccessible. The Fascists will need to invade Sweden. The Caliphate will need to invade a steel-rich country of some sort.
  12. I'm surprised there isn't conflict with Indonesia and Malaysia, considering they have so many Muslims. India must hate that, and their own population since Islam exists there too.
  13. Indonesia's Islam is more chill, and India has made peace with them (relatively). India dislikes Malaysia and its Islam and has done all it can to make sure it never joins the USSR.
  14. Premise for World War 2: 3 colliding World Orders:
Fascism wants their colonies back, like Iraq and Indonesia. They also want to enslave all people of color.
Socialism wants a worldwide Socialist Revolution and to remake the world in their image.
Islam wants to... well, proselytize the entire World, which clashes with Socialists.
  15. Fascism had Iraq? This is news, I thought the british had Iraq, or is this NN alternative universe? :p
  16. The Brits had Iraq. The brits are part of the CNE. If CNE is taken by fascists, they will want Iraq back.
    Otus_NigRum likes this.
  17. Sorry forgot.
  18. It's okay lol
SEU is displeased at the Fascists. They move to expel them from Europe, but only end up makimg everything worse by fanning Fascism in CNE, BF and other European Nations.
  19. The characteristics of the Fascist movement sweeping over Europe:
    • Christian (Catholics+Protestant)
    • Euro-Centric Nationalist
    • Racist, believes non-whites should be enslaved
    • Very Anti-Islam, anti-Socialist
    • Wants to rebuild Colonial Empires
  20. Characteristics of the Socialists:
    • Wants to spread Socialism and eventually create a communist utopia. Knows it will not be feasible any time soon.
    • Loathes Facism, dislikes Islam, both for different reasons. Loathes Fascism for its nationalism and imperialism. Dislikes Islam for being a religion.
    • 50% infighting, 25% Paperwork, 25% unstoppable doom machine.
    • Very determined.
