  1. Why not the fine island of Jeju?

  2. That's in 2018 dollars, done with 2016 (I think) statistics from a Google search. And I may have (absolutely, I did) miscalculated. If we go with 2018's IMF stats and round them then Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Ireland probably add up to just about $1 trillion, the UK is worth $3 trillion, and Germany is worth $4 trillion. Puts the FRNS at $8 trillion GDP.

If we assume everyone is operating at the same nominal GDPs as IRL, I'd put the HMKX around $18 trillion, UWE third with $6.8 trillion, Japan fourth at $5 trillion (this list is supposed to be combines only, hence why I ignored the USA, but Japan is fun to add lol), UFOS fifth at $4.8 trillion, and UNAFR at a narrow sixth with $4.4 trillion. However that's just trivia, in-game I'd probably go with UNAFR and UFOS being bigger.

Also fun to add that without the FRNS, the European Commonwealth has a market size that caps out around $3 trillion, maybe $4 trillion if we're generous, and 1/3rd-1/4th of that is Spain. With so many member states I expected more, but then again it's all just Eastern Europe, dunno why I thought it'd be bigger.

Feel free to redo it. I've got discalculia so I'm crap with numbers, I was just curious and it made sense to me to check so I could add it into the deal bullets. And it's annoying having to dig through older GDP counts that actually are adjusted for inflation so I didn't do that, but also it kinda compensates for the bigger economies we've all probably got than what happened IRL.
  3. HMKX has half the GDP Per capita that USA does, due to the fact that HMKX still has a lot of semi-poor people. But there are very little Super-Poor people (a few in Siberia, unmonitorable). Basically, everyone is equally lower-middle class (at least by UNAFR/FRNS standards) and lives like Eastern European people today. There are some super-rich people, but overall the rich are under government supervision and are effectively coerced into reinvesting into the economy. However, having 8.4 times the population (casually discounts entirety of Russia) means HMKX's GDP is 38.17 Trillion Dollars. This means HMXK outclasses every other combine by a lot. I'll keep it at this level since anything bigger is OP and HMKX is OP as is. UNAFR would be somewhere around 10-11 trillion, UFOS would be somewhere around 12-13. FRNS, including Indonesia would be 12-13 Trillion, assuming Indonesia isn't dirt poor. If it is, it plunges to 8-9. I'm just throwing around numbers. (I found this inflation calculator, I just jam the numbers in there)
I can confidently say India was the second smartest annexation made in this game.
First is Australia, UFOS did something really clever by annexing that resource-rich land. Iron that exceeds Russia and China combined (HMKX has to put its entire country together to match that), Aluminum that is only second to Guinea, Copper only second to Chile... wow. Just clever.
  4. Canada produces wayyy more aluminum than Guinea, as well as China. On every wiki and informative list that I see, Guinea isn't even in the top 5.
  5. Reserves.
Guinea is well-developed in game; they've made good use of that and satisfied the appetite of the Empire. HMKX just can't be satisfied with a crazy dictator, they need vast amounts. So they installed a Democracy out of convenience. Guinea and HMKX have a symbiotic relationship; the nationalized company of Aluminum in Guinea sells Aluminum for cheap, HMKX provides them protection and money.
  6. The UNAFR's main natural resource producers are Canada and Alaska.

Even Canada by itself ranks second in Uranium and niobium, third in nickel, gemstones, aluminum, cobalt and platinum. Fifth in diamonds, titanium and gold.
Just imagine Canada + Alaska, + All the other states. Not to mention all that beautiful oil.

The biggest problem is the population. If the UNAFR wanted to, all of that unused land could be mined up, and it could not only cause environmental damage but a massive boom in natural resource production. The only problem is that the UNAFR is eco-friendly and doesn't have many people to actually work. The UNAFR is the smallest combine out of everyone else, with only 64 million people against 1 billion people across the ocean. UWE even has more people!

That's also why the UNAFR is welcoming so much immigration and jobs from other countries. The US provides a big part in this, considering the US is pretty much a stale buttered country, workers from all near the border are coming into work.

The UNAFR would also have +190 million people if Nigeria was still a colony... Hmm... If Nigeria... was still... a colony...
  7. OOC: Honestly, my biggest regret in this game is changing TUN to UNAFR. Not only is it annoying to keep proper grammar by always saying "the" in front of the UNAFR, but now I'm just underpowered.
I changed it to UNAFR as a sort of way to end the game, but it clearly didn't end there. I friggen gave up Louisiana/Alabama/Mississippi/Arkansas as well as Nigeria and Chad. God, I wish I still had those countries, now if I try to get them back it wouldn't make sense, why would I re-annex a nation I just made independent?
The UNAFR would be way more powerful than it is now, with Nigeria as a colony the UNAFR could just conscript soldiers there and jump from 1 million to 3 million easily. 1 million isn't even a realistic number for my nation size, it drains your economy hard in real life.
What do you think I should do? I really want those countries back, I left them because I thought the game was over, but if I re-annex them it wouldn't make sense and would cause upset nations. I need advice.

I also just did the math and I added up all of UNAFR states with 2017 numbers. It adds up to 80 million, but that's still only 2017 numbers. Since the UNAFR is small, i'll keep it at 2017 numbers to keep it balanced.
  8. Make something like the EC in NPAT. EC is a tight group that is behaving more and more like a single nation. That's the best advice I can give you, this will make the whole of NPAT act like a single nation.
GAD has always been a loose hub for allies, I don't use it much. I won't Federalize/bring it closer it in any way.
HMKX has decided that they want to show off a bit. HMKX has 12 Supercarriers. One of them (Guan Yu) has been dispatched to Libya and DRC to make sure the allies play nice.
Here's the funny thing about Supercarriers. If you have 12, you can only deploy 8 at best.
If you have 9, you can deploy 6. At best.

  9. A meeting has been done in New York City with all the North Pacific Alliance Members. The meeting sparked a lot of conversation and brought new ideas to the table. One of these ideas was an agreement which would see a bolder and more united NPAT. Instead of being an Independent Nation who just so happens to be in a military alliance, each member will contribute to their fullest, supplying not only troops and weaponry but also natural resources, food and logistics. This would see NPAT become close to being one Nation, although all members keep their government, lifestyles and citizenships the exact same, NPAT will act as a stable family, all brothers and sisters united as one.

This agreement would also see former colonies like Nigeria and Chad act a lot more like an annexed piece of land. This means that they would draft a lot of their troops into the UNAFR military. This may seem negative, as Independent countries fully submitting themselves seems unjust, yet it actually gives that submitted country huge advantages, as they will see an expanded economy, 100% more safety, more trade and sharing of natural resources, and a share of arts and culture. They basically become brother states.

Many members, of course, battled this idea, mainly Pakistan, Algeria and Malaysia. Three superpowers in their own rights, these nations have always been themselves Independent. Algeria is a prideful mess, only joining the Alliance to gain military dominance, and that isn't the only problem, Algeria which is a majority Muslim country don't really like the western world that much. Pakistan feels as if they would be controlled like a toddler, and Malaysia doesn't want to lose the Independence rights that were given to them in 1960.

The only solution to this would be a signed agreement to every participating member, on whether they would like to strengthen themselves and become close to a united country, rather than just an ally.

    The agreement was signed...

Members who did not sign the agreement:
    • Malaysia
    • Pakistan
    • Algeria
    • Ivory Coast (in fact, they left NPAT and just stayed a UNAFR ally)
    • Greece, Romania (they couldn't, they are already in the EC so being apart of the new United NPAT agreement would hustle a lot of things)
    Members who signed the agreement:
    • The United South (basically a united state comprised of Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana)
    • California
    • Oregon
    • Florida
    • Cuba
    • Nigeria
    • Cameroon
    • Chad
    • Kenya
    • Israel
Just to note, members who did not sign are not declaring a leave of NPAT, it was just that they did not want to be controlled, yet they will stay as NPAT league members.

Being a part of the agreement means a total share of resources, trade, troops, military equipment and citizenship. This doesn't mean everyone feeds UNAFR, but UNAFR feeds everyone who feeds him.
As for citizenships, in North America citizens of different NPAT nations can freely travel to any North American NPAT nation with only one passport. This passport allows them to travel nearly everywhere they want, and nearly at hassle free, as there are barely any complications with moving to each country. This will allow a whole lot more job opportunities and allow easier immigration.
This is only exclusive to American Citizens as of now though, only TUS, California, Oregon, Florida, UNAFR and Cuba. Citizens of those countries have basically absolute free travel to each of those previously stated countries. Migrants, of course, will have a more difficult time, but it will be easier than before. Of course, everyone who gets one of these NPAT passports will be heavily background checked by the FBI and other Intelligence Agencies in their own countries.

Nonetheless, citizens of any NPAT nation will be given more opportunities to work abroad.

As for the military, work is heavily being undergone on a One Army Policy. This would see those respective NPAT members unite all their militaries into one. Instead of Nigeria having their own army, they would basically be apart of the UNAFR's army. Obviously, each nation keeps its own army traditions, insignia's, battle dress and army culture, but during the case of war, all armies will unite under one. This expands UNAFR's army throughout the entire world.

As for resources, NPAT gets a ton of resource management in each NPAT nation, basically to the point of sharing resources.

    Updated NPAT map:
  10. UNAFR total Population: 80 million
    NPAT total Population: 746 million

Total Population of NPAT members in the United Agreement: 448 million.

Military Population of NPAT Armed Forces (NPATAR):
  11. While still a bit small in comparison to HMKX, who isn't?
    Glad you took my advice.

  12. The NPATAR program will see some ground rumbling things.

It will see the combining of all militaries apart of the agreement. Although each military will keep their own identity and will stay focused in their home country, during a war a set amount of personnel will contribute with UNAFR forces to fight.

This allows the UNAFR to lower their military population, allowing for a bit more wiggle room in the economy.

This also bumps the UNAFR's military population from 1 million to 7 million, all troops from:
TUS, California, Flordia, Oregon, Cuba, Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Kenya, Israel.

Due to the shorter amount of these countries own militaries, large amounts of conscription are happening, especially in Nigeria where nearly 40% of all of NPATAR's troop population will come from.

These fighters will fight under the name of NPATAR, although due to the combination of UNAFR, a lot of NPATAR's missions will be fighting for the UNAFR, basically making the UNAFR's military personnel numbers skyrocket, although after the war these fighters will resume in their countries, and UNAFR's single personnel numbers will stay as before.

In total, this means that NPATAR and the UNAFR will have a combined force of 7 million men, although this number is subject to change, and most likely will only reach those numbers during dire case of a war, so a realistic number would be about 4 million, although 10 million could be reached in a world-ending case. If a draft happens in each country though... oh boy.

    Military personnel: 7,000,000
    Active Personnel: 3,000,000
    Reserve Personnel: 4,000,000

The program will go as follows, each country will begin conscription of their own men who are fit between the ages of 18 to 24. They will enter 1 year of military service, that of which is UNAFR based, which is one of the best training programs in the world. They will then enter the reservation, and of course, will continue on with citizen duties, being called only if in dire need. This means that during a war the NPATAR will be called out to fight alongside the UNAFR, making the UNAFR a massive force in the conflict. This means that these NPATAR countries will also be in the war as well.

The project is currently underway, and won't begin happening until 2002, where the set goal of 7 million men is only expected to be reached by that same year or 2003. In the meantime, every NPATAR nation is setting its own focus on building military equipment, gear for their soldiers, vehicles, planes and ships. Some nations need help and are given UNAFR blueprints, while others are developing their own aircraft.

Nigeria is starting this program the quickest, expecting have a military of up to 1 million men in 1 year, ready to supply themselves for the NPATAR.

The UNAFR assures them to slow down, as rushing in an undertrained army is no sign of strength.
  13. HMKX has expanded its conscription program from 5 to 7 million. While HMKX relies mainly on massive artillery bombardments, the battle that follows is a bloody one and more manpower is always a good thing.
HMKX's artillery bombardments of days on end are infamous for good reason; it is known that men have gone mad and people straight-up died without anyone being hit by a single shell, just from the noise, constant death and being underground.
HMKX, as the world's biggest arms exporter means that Ukraine, Belarus and most of the nations that is surrounded or is HMKX's ally uses some variant of the AK-74. This means that everyone uses the same ammo; this is useful. HMKX is expanding its Nuclear Submarine program, but HMKX doesn't want to be seen as hostile so they've played it nice and shushed it up.
HMKX is expanding its ambition; HMKX decides that the South China Sea is a good place to carve up.
HMKX has arbitrarily decided to cut up the SCS in a way advantageous to Vietnam and itself. HMKX gives a bit to Malaysia as well. HMKX dominates half the international portion of Sea, Vietnam a third, Malaysia a sixth. HMKX, realizing that it cannot satisfy its ambition with only this Ocean, HMKX has dug into a chunk of Indonesia's claims for its own. HMKX has expanded its Naval Activity in the North Atlantic and in the vital shipping lanes of FRNS. HMKX is showing that it can cut the Jugular Vein, but that it chooses not to.
  14. UNAFR presence has significantly risen in the South China Sea. The UNAFR basically dominates the Malaysia portion, as Malaysia has multiple ICBMs which need to be protected. Indonesia is run by FRNS, although the UNAFR has a presence there as well.

The UNAFR basically asks the Philippines, "Hey, want to join us? We'll trade you more than anyone else has!" They accept the Philippines becomes friends and an ally with the UNAFR, endorsing in trade and military protection. It isn't clear if the Phillippines has decided on joining NPAT, but if they do they would be another big play for the NPATAR.
The UNAFR is trading big time for the Philippines electric machinery and equipment and their circuit boards. The UNAFR also helps them with their natural resource reserves, assisting them in constructing mines and oil refineries all throughout the country.

The Philippines is a new hotspot for UNAFR trade in Asia
  15. The UWE's naval cruiser has arrived at New Zealand. With this they deploy their troops on New Zealand. These troops is not the UWE preparing for war.

The UWE plans to protect New Zealand and with this make it easier to annex and less likely to rebel. They also start shipping over food, and resources to help the people of New Zealand.
The UWE doesn't start any of their plans in this land. These will srry once New Zealand is fully theirs.

Moving away from New Zealand, the UWE now is starting to develop tanks in factories in France. These are new tanks called "The Napoleon".( Based off the Leclerc, but changed the name for fun)They will be made with outdated technology, but are cheaper to make. This uses up a lot of thier resources because of the starting of mass producing of these tanks And the process is also slow because the UWE isn't trying to pollute their countries. They mass produce them and plan to have close to 100 in about 4-5 months.

OOC: I'm still new so tell me if I'm doing anything wrong with technology or starting to annex stuff
  16. Not bad, just when you're going to be building stuff it's better to set a time limit like:
"3 military factories will be built in France within 6 posts. They will mass produce (insert military equipment here, most likely artillery, tanks, etc.) If you have writing skill you're probably going to type more than this.

You can start making the Leclerc, as its 2000 in game. The Leclerc is basically a third-generation main battle tank, up to arms with the M1 Abrams.

If you want to get more information on what to build, just google stuff like "List of Italian/French ships in military, or List of French tanks, then you can pick one which is either made 2 years after the current year (2000) or 10 years before to be modern enough.

    Just use google.
  17. HMKX has the TO-5, a buffed version of the T-90. The T-90 just can't match up to western platforms, explaining why I buffed it. It's an MBT that is a match for the M1 Abrams, but focused more on endurance and ease of manufacture rather than sheer performance. HMKX has a crap ton of land, and where any M1 would break down the TO-5 goes strong. Basically, it's inferior on a perfectly flat plane but comparative performance rises the longer and longer it is in hostile environments.
The E-5 is HMKX's first fifth generation airplane platform, being a match if not superior to the F-22.
HMKX loves guided missile cruisers and destroyers, they're its favorite kind of ship (other than submarines, mostly Nuclear with some Diesel-Electric.)
  18. The UNAFR doesn't need to match HMKX terrain because they will never fight on HMKX soil. It's because of our nuclear agreement, you can only nuke others once they set foot on your own soil. Why would the UNAFR even think of going to fight on HMKX soil? The M1 Abrams is also fit for fighting on crappy terrain, more than the real-life version because the UNAFR's main landmass is Canada, every tank is much better on terrain than their real-life counterparts. Since the UNAFR is key on defence, every vehicle is considered for the rugged terrain in Canada.

Also, the UNAFR doesn't use frigates anymore, they are using heavy guided missile cruisers and destroyers as well. The frigate idea didn't work out and was abandoned in the 80s.

As the biggest nation on earth with more men then everyone combined you gotta have the most superior equipment to make everything even eh?

The UNAFR leads in drone technology, heavily supporting the NPATAR with the Predator. Algeria seems to love this the most, as spying on their weak neighbours is their favourite hobby.

The CVN-74 John C. Stennis and the CVN-75 Harry S. Truman supercarriers are under construction and will be introduced to the military in 40 posts.

The UNAFR has over 40 guided missile Cruisers in the navy, mainly of the Ticonderago Class. Over 65 Destroyers, mostly of the Arleigh-Burke class. Battlecruisers are being worked on, basically heavy cruisers. The UNAFR knows Cruisers are the way to go, and so they are mass producing on it. The number of UNAFR frigates numbers at about 10, it shouldn't go higher.

The M4 is also being worked on to battle the reliability of the AK-47, the M4 Carbine is seeing major reforms in the military. A new version is being pumped out, the M4-A2. This time, the gun is much more resistant to harsh climate, sure it will never be able to be submerged in mud, laced with shoelaces and still be able to fire, but it is in all ways, except resilience, better than any AK model, which by the way cannot be laced up as poorly and still perform well as AK users believe. Although accuracy is decreased a small amount, and overall performance is lowered a bit, it'll be able to last much more of a beating than the current M4 Carbine. The HMKX's exaggeration about the M16 and M4 consistently jamming is a bit much, since it isn't really the case, although jamming does happen, just at a rarer rate than what is thought. Every soldier is disciplined and trained to quickly and easily clean the weapon. With the M4-A2 this isn't the case, although cleaning will be needed to prevent weapon failure, it will be at a much shorter rate, instead of having to clean it every engagement, you'll now be able to clean it every few engagements, while still being able to hand the dirt and debris that may interrupt the weapon. Since the M16A4 and M4 itself are amazing weapons, they are still being widely used, although during more rough enviornments the M4-A2 will be in much more popular demand.
  19. The WEO is proposing to the world new plans to combat world pollution.
The WEO President said in a statement:
Many may think, "But WEO, you've been leading the movement of the decline of air pollution! What more pollution is there?" Yes, we have, and we have personally thanked and gifted every country and combine out there who has worked with us to improve our world, but there's one thing that could speak of doom for our oceans. Plastic.
Our very own researchers at the World Environment Organization have placed estimates on the drawing board, and many agree that if this problem is not focused on we could have more plastic in the ocean than fish by 2050. That is not something we want, we do not want 50% our fish and birds having consumed at least one trace of plastic in their lifetime, we NEED to stop this.

A shout of rejoicing in the meeting room erupted. Associates in the program from the UNAFR, HMKX, FRNS, UWE and UFOS all applauded the WEO President.

What must be done though? Many things, yet many ideas are presented:

Such as the banning of single-use plastics. Single-use plastics are one-time use things such as straws, plastic bags and wrappers, all of which are being put towards the pollution of our oceans.
Presenting positive ideas to countries own people is a great step. It is said that only 9% of the actual plastic is recycled. This is HUGE, as the remaining numbers lead to heavy pollution of our world. If people don't smarten up and recycling plants are not put in place, it could lead to damaging effects.

What is UNAFR doing? Many things. One of which is the beginning of the ban of single-use plastics. Plastic bags are being replaced with biodegradable plastics and cloth based bags. The UNAFR is expected to be under the entire ban by 2004.
As for straws, many cities are now fining restaurants for giving out plastic straws, ordering them to use either washable straws or paper/hay straws. This is becoming less and less of an option for restaurants to use plastic if they want to, and the UNAFR government is pushing this. Straw laws will be in full effect and the number of plastic straws will be extinct by 2005.
Styrofoam is being looked at, and a possible ban and solutions are being spoken of. No clear date is signed yet.
The government is also paying organizations and companies who focus on redirecting and removing trash and plastics from the ocean and river waters. The municipal governments' fund organization who remove land litter.

Anti-Plastic pollution and pro recycle movements are being heavily supported throughout the country. The media at insane rates pushes for motives for recycling, and the school system starts drilling pro-recycling into the ideas of very young students, and even through to grade 12.

The UNAFR President said that by 2010 all oceans around the UNAFR will be entirely clean of all forms of pollution, whether it be plastic or runoff. The WEO predicts that if UFOS and HMKX pitch in, that the Pacific will be entirely extinct of plastic by 2015. The Atlantic by 2014. This will only happen quicker if FRNS, HMKX, UWE and UFOS all pitch into the removal of plastic pollution of our oceans and land. Please, the UNAFR President begs, it is our only hope.

African countries apart of the WEO are setting their own goals, pushing for the bans of plastics and for the clean up of their oceans. The biggest problem is developing countries, many of which produce unfruitful amounts of waste. WEO members all throughout the globe, whether it be a European, African, South American, Asian, Middle Eastern or whatever are accepting these ideas and pushing their own bans.

  20. HMKX is setting plans to create Biodegradable Plastics and slowly phasing out non-biodegradable ones. The research will be complete by 2005 and deployed to replace half of all HMKX plastics by 2007. ALSO, OTUS, AK-74. HMKX PHASED OUT THE 47 AGES AGO.
    AK-74
IT'S BETTER, LIGHTER, MORE RELIABLE, MORE ADVANCED!
    SING ALONG WITH ME!
    AK-74, BETTER THAN THE AK-47!
    AK-74, BETTER THAN THE AK-47!
    huff puff
The thing is, an M1 may be good in rugged terrain. Try mud. Lots and lots of mud.
Or cold, super cold. Or super hot!
OOC: Look; whatever thing UNAFR might have about reliability goes out the Window then you compare it to HMKX. It's reflected in Eastern and Western Design doctrine. Of course, that brings quality issues, but HMKX can produce massive numbers of weapons with ease.
