HMKX is once again modernizing its Yi Sun-Shin-Class Aircraft Carriers, this time to add Kevlar to vital spaces and install some Anti-Missile Defenses as well as some Antisubmarine warfare mechanisms, in order to increase Ballast and reduce the Cruiser-Submarine complement it needs to form a Carrier Battle Group. Just for reference, 1 antisubmarine cruiser, 2 antiship cruisers, 1 supply ship, and 2 submarines are the bare minimum and 2 antisubmarine cruisers, 3 antiship cruisers, 1 supply ship, 1 shore assault cruiser and 3 submarines are the recommended amount. The extended amount consists of 3 Antisubmarine cruisers, 3 Antiship cruisers, 1 shore assault cruiser, 2 general-purpose cruisers and 3 Submarines, as well as 1 supply ship. In addition, the Siberian development project has reached many of its primary objectives and is now slowing down. Siberia is now a secondary industrial center and a major farming center for the Empire. It took so long because Siberia is huge and cold, necessitating developments of entirely new technologies. A portion of Siberia is now completely industrialized, and the rest, uninhabitable due to sheer cold have been surveyed. The roaring economic development of HMKX is starting to slow down. There were 2 ages of massive growth, the first age being the industrialization of China, rebuilding of Asia's countries and formation of the HMKX heart. The second age has ended now, with the industrialization of the vast Siberian wastelands winding down. HMKX now has no more land to develop, and will transition into a slower-growth economy. HMKX's deep battle mindset via method of raw artillery bombardments at all levels of the line is being advanced with the creation of more artillery and airstrikes. And hey, isn't that the country HMKX beat up 20 years ago? President Kim-Il Sung has decided not to run for a third term due to his deteriorating health, including a tumor on the back of his head. Indian candidate Ramaswamy Venkataraman won in a close race. He promised to competently handle crises and to adopt a policy of good international relations, and is decently liked.
The SAAO meeting went well the UFOS goverment has now recieved permission from the rest of SAAO to get rid of the harsh dictater in Columbia we will be sending in a covert operations team to remove the dictater and we will officially be annexxing columbia
The HMKX Army has launched a massive military exercise/war games, "Operation Brasstacks" OOC: Based off the IRL 1986-1987 Operation Brasstacks. Nearly 1,000,000 HMKX Soldiers have been mobilized in the regions near Pakistan and is conducting war games. HMKXS Chandragupta has been mobilized near Pakistan and is providing simulated Air Support, with the HMKX Air Force being mobilized in massive numbers. The Navy, while taking a relatively small role, has still mobilized Submarines and several Anti-Ship Cruisers, likely to deter any Pakistani interference. Armored support is also being tested. HMKX has clarified this is, in fact war games in order to test out HMKX's newest TO-4 and E-4, as well as AK-74s in military situations and not planning for an invasion of Pakistan, and has communicated this fact to all NPAT states and Combines. This war game is the largest since WW2 and an impressive show of force in the region. This is likely a counterthreat to TUN's admission of Pakistan to NPAT, which was intended to tick off HMKX's Indian region. HMKX has offered a direct phone line to UFOS and has advised them to attend WEO meeting to improve international standing.
HMKX is attempting to get the African states that banded together against FRNS to calm down, and maybe scrap that nuke but it is not working. While HMKX has garnered support for not being white men coming to do "White Men's burden", they are still seen as helpful outsiders, and rightfully so. The massive military exercise is in full swing, with HMKX creating a full mock war, a hypothetical Pakistani invasion and Indian counterattack being the main event. This is still war games, and it is still said to be as such. However, this force could theoretically transition into a powerful fighting force, and the only thing keeping it from being as such is its abnormally small logistical supplies which are nowhere near enough to invade and take over Pakistan, but are more than enough to make a massive war game. However, such a war game does have slightly more than enough supplies to invade Pakistan and force it to capitulate to HMKX demands. It seems it is a dual-purpose exercise, with the primary purpose being a war game to train the HMKX Army and to make a show of force, and to invade Pakistan and defeat it should things go South in these tense times. It remains to be seen how TUN or USA will respond to these latest war games, as they are the biggest since WW2 and the biggest done by any Combine and are by any definition except by name a full-blown invasion force, meant to defeat Pakistan and force demands upon it. It is of note this is still unable to take over Pakistan, as it does not have enough supplies to launch a protracted war against NPAT and has nowhere near enough to fight the entire Pakistan Military with NPAT aid.
Military bases are being built in Pakistan and Afghanistan. As promised by the President, veterans are receiving post-duty pay and are experiencing way more mental and physical health benefits from the government. Disabled Veterans and veterans with PTSD who are unable to work receive monthly payment every month, enough to support themselves independently, as well with children, a spouse and their family. The new Healthcare plan is becoming a lot cheaper and less money demanding, receiving health emergency care is free. (Basically like modern Canada) The plan also focuses on dental, optical and therapy care. Citizens are not meant to lose their entire life savings for medical emergencies.

Also UFOS has now passed a Law where prisoners sentenced to Death have 2 months to get their affairs in order and then they die we will not have people dying on death row(kinda like US irl)if they are sentenced to death it will be quick and painless for them
