The ARL is also making advances, they destroyed the SfA Enclaves. ARL will likely annex a little under half of Tennessee. You've got competition, m'boy. They are determined to hang the US flag over Nashville, if Javor wants to make Tennessee a puppet state (annexations are banned under a long-ago treaty) then they'll have to act fast. ARL is scrambling for Nashville and to take the state.
Why? We already had military in Nashville, and so talks are underway with the pre-SFA government to make them a puppet of Javor.
As far as I know, Javor took over a fair bit of Tennessee but ARL wasn't sitting ducks. Nashville should be contested, because there is no way they would sit while Javor swallowed another American state. Javor agreed long ago to not attack any more nations for 30 years. The best they can do is a puppet state, where Javor replaces the current government with a puppet government.
Here, we have a compromise: We have a type of "board of directors" where each Javor, ARL and pre-SFA Tennessee send a representative and vote on what happens to Tennessee. And that's the permanent power structure. Or, option 2, we can have Tennessee voters decide what happens.
It's pretty clear the vote would be spread 1:1:1. ARL really just wants Tennessee to be part of their massive organization, which is in turn backed but not controlled by HMKX. ARL just wants America back, and if TUN would stop assuming for little reason HMKX would control the USA, ARL and TUN would likely get along just fine. They don't see Javor as a singular state, but rather a bunch of states that need to get back into the USA, which puts it into direct conflict with Javor's existence. However, a direct war with Javor would be a stomp against them which is why they've given up trying to get Javor's annexed states back. You know what I'll just roll a die to decide what the heck the voters want. It's probably less likely they want to be annexed, but also not extremely likely they want into the ARL. My my. But that would provoke a war between ARL and Javor, Javor is to the ARL an all-consuming abyss where states of the USA go, a roadblock to their mission.
What would be the purpose or reason for provoking a war? Javor wishes to be allies with ARL, but Tennessee was up for grabs and Tennessee decided they wanted to be a puppet of Javor.
I don't think you understand the purpose of the ARL. ARL's very purpose is to restore America, and that includes Javor. They need to take as many states as possible in order to recreate the USA closer to what it was before the breakup. And Javor is a massive bloc of states that, short of attacking and destroying them will never submit themselves to be broken up before the USA, and they are continuously consuming more and more states that will never be able to rejoin America. They're scheming right now on how to reclaim Tennessee. Yeah, I think they're not pleased.
TUN doesn't like the fact that they have been eradicating the AFA for quite some time now, and while their backs are turned the ARL swoop in and take as much territory as they can. They basically got Oklahoma for free, and in the war for Birmingham, they basically walked through an open door and then claim Alabama is theirs. As for Tennessee, Javor has our vote. TUN, now with the custody of over 30 AFA Party members questions and tortures them. Apparently, their main source of wealth when they first started was from rich families, such as the 'Monalia Family' in Florida, the 'Frankfurt Family' in New York, and the "Colesmiths Family" from California. All families have been detained and questioned. Other main sources of income include Large-scale drug trade, fraud, robbery, and taking over the federal banks from each country they gained control too. Once in power of the SFA, their military abilities were boosted because they had the hold of 5 militarized countries. 10 AfA leaders directly responsible for racist extremist events and the killing of over 300 black and minorities in Louisiana are being sent to the execution block. All will be sentenced to hanging. The rest are still being judged in court, but those who will not receive a life sentence will most likely reside in federal prison. Mississippi and Louisiana are economically in thorns. Their government is slowly being rebuilt, but it is taking a long time. Alabama was quite rich to start off with, and the rebuilding of their cities is taking place. Arkansas was never really affected in war, except their involvement in supplying with troops in aid to Alabama and Tennessee. Thus, marks a long road ahead to restore the shattered southern states. With a powerhouse like TUN on their side, it looks like they could pick themselves up within the next couple of years.
Minnesota has joined the American Restoration League and also has requested to join NPAT for better trading deals and an alliance. TUN accepts, except if there was to be a war between the ARL and TUN, Idaho and Minnesota, both NPAT and ARL countries would have to either leave NPAT entirely and lose an important alliance and beneficial trade deals, or leave the ARL and stick by NPAT's side.
UKNS spies have infiltrated the ARL government. It is widely known that the UKNS wishes to put a halt to anything resembling North American reunification, as has been a foreign policy goal since 1945.
And yet it progresses without halting. Seriously, UKNS is delaying the inevitable here. HMKX is well aware of this and has gambled on a foreign power.
