SfA is the South For America Pact. They are basically states under the control of the AfA, the people who caused chaos in Louisiana ARL is the American Restoration League. It is there goal to rebuild The United States, but without any United North Influence (ill update the map in a sec)
POST USA Map Update TUN has also condemned Idaho for abandoning the NPAT deal and destructs their promises to protect them. Idaho is no longer an Ally and no longer safe from TUN.
How is staying with both NPAT and ARL a bad thing? ARL and SfA are at war. Maryland is now a part of ARL, I might mention. Happened after a lot of negotiation.
The first shots were fired, and thus starts the first war on American soil since the Civil War (it is basically a civil war now) Mississipi and Arkansas forces fire a multitude of rockets into Lousiana. Where did these come from?? TUN sends in fleets of aircraft and bombards first line defence, while surprisingly taking more casualties than expected. What is this?? How has the SfA been so good at defending? Through the SR-71 spying missions there were expected anti-air defences, but not to this extent! TUN has also begun bombing Mississippi defences with B-52 Bombers and has sent volley after volley of long ranged missiles from the sea. Troops move in through the border and close in on Jackson. Even though they are mostly conscripts, SfA troops do not give up and hold UN troops back while firing volley after volley of missiles and thousands of gun rounds. Even throughout the chaos, there is a still eerie, sticky feeling... Through many spying missions, TUN has found out that the SFA has nuclear weapons... Oh no...
The HMKX Empire has commenced an emergency aircraft deliver of Antiaircraft defenses for Texas and the ARL. Having nukes does not mean anything if they do not have a means of delivering them, as they have no ICBMs as Imperial intelligence indicates. The Imperial Air Force is en route to decimate any and all Nuclear Weapons SfA may posses.
The ARL's main goal is to restore America. It's not a bad plan, but in that plan they want TUN excluded entirely. I guess you're right though, I guess I can keep Idaho in there. Let me update the map again (I like maps btw)
The Virginian and Maryland navies blockade the mouth and all the upstream areas of the Potomac. Thousands of troops march into D.C.. The fighting begins. Washington is under attack. The Capitol building is now in ruins. The Washington monument has crumbled in years of disrepair. One of the White House's wings have fallen apart in what is apparently a fire, and the rest is occupied by raider gangs. Police is nonexistent, and many have fled the area. Primitive civilizations dot the area, and there is no central authority. Resistance is crushed, as no one commands anything. It is a wonder how the Supreme Court building stands, tall in the face of everything. Everything, 25 years of raiders and anarchy, no one has looted the building or even defaced it. One man has been briefed on his mission. Once D.C. is taken, his sole duty is to hang the flag back on, with now 51 states. The fighting is short. In 9 hours, D.C. is taken in a surprise night attack. As dawn breaks, a prepared flagpole, rooted into the ground in 3 hours is readied for the hanging of a new flag. The Star-Spangled banner flies over D.C, now with 51 states.

Thousands of casualties, both troops and citizens have been reported. TUN pushed right through Mississippi lines and decimated them through heavy bombing and gunfire. Although they made it through, SFA forces made an insanely good fight, ripping UN troops who dared to march into their frontlines, and sending volley after volley of missiles onto UN troops. Honestly, if it weren't for the UNRAF, it would have taken much longer to take out SFA troops, and it would have ended in much more bloodshed. What's this? The thing that TUN fears the most? Yes, nuclear explosions, something TUN has many experiences on *cough* Timmins *cough* A small convoy which included a semi-truck aided by military jeeps and "police" cruisers was seen speeding away from Jackson suspiciously to Alabama. Maybe it was just a citizen trying to get away, but the escort doesn't make sense... Thus, F-15 Eagle fighter jets followed the convoy all the way to Newton, near Meridian, where the Eagles lit up the convoy with explosive delight. (It was a big explosion) The convoy erupted in flames, and let off a small mushroom cloud and decimated the highway... Shoot... That was a nuke... Luckily, it was a crude terrorist type and was only 100 tons, yet it still begs the question, how much power does the SFA have? (explosive map) Although TUN has taken over Jackson, Mississippi is a large country, which is indeed crawling with SFA troops. The capitol may have fallen, but taking over is going to be a big job. TUN still bombards SFA troops outside of Jackson. Remnants of Jackson shock UN troops as they flood the city within 48 hours of initially entering the country. Although TUN did drop bombs on Jackson, it wasn't for much, because the city was already in ruin. Whole neighbourhoods abandoned, shops and malls completely destroyed (not by fighting) and when TUN arrived the streets were void of vehicles (not even parked cars). The AFA party is a cruel party. They lie their way into rule with their charisma and propaganda and then kill off their own population. Jackson was once a beautiful city, full of culture and history. Now, it's a gang-ridden pile of trash. Nothing but useless pieces of the past. It seems as if the AFA hired more conscripts than expected. I think they emptied all the men above 18 out of every town... No big AFA leaders were found in Jackson, they must have gotten away, possibly weeks ago because the Town Hall was completely vacant and destroyed... Seems as if Mississippi wasn't anything really, it was just a decoy meant to look like a superpower.
After extensive debate in the Cabinet, President Kim Il-Sung has made his verdict. The UKNS certainly will not organize a meeting in the near future, and will likely never submit a plan for this to be resolved. A perpetual state of tension is also undesirable with the UFOS, as Australian copper imports are simply not enough to feed the Empire. So to resolve this mess, the Empire is setting up a conference with UKNS-HMKX-UFOS meetings. The Empire is not expecting the UKNS to show up, and they are here mostly as a formality. The show has been designed to go on without them, although it would be nice if they showed up as a voice of reason. . . . The UFOS Nuclear research building goes up in flames, most of the work is lost. UFOS Nuclear weapon progress is set back to somewhere between a nation with Nuclear Power plants but no weapons and a nation with no Nuclear Power plants or weapons, because the burning destroyed most existing Nuclear research including all Nuclear weapon blueprints, and all Nuclear Power plant blueprints. HMKX is responsible for this, but they hide their tracks very well and it is likely impossible that UFOS will ever be able to trace them back to HMKX proper. While it is impossible to hide it from UFOS that a HMKX agent did it, multiple factions and terrorist groups have been set up in order to make it seem that someone other than the government did it, out of Nationalism. HMXK is well aware they would be the first suspect, and has taken care to destroy all evidence. What evidence there was burned in the fire and all the evidence that could not be purged was hidden. The Theocracy might have helped (OOC: No.) and they are a formidable force. (OOC: They have magic powers.)

Mississippi has fallen, and so has their economy. After TUN swiftly steamrolled SFA fighters, troops rushed into the vacant capitol building and took it over. Now, Mississippi is politically under the power of The United North. The only problem now is filtering out the rest of the SFA forces who stand strong in large numbers around the city. They fight with a commander sitting at home in his office chair, demanding more action. Oh, the AFA is a pity for a party... The United North Royal Airforce makes SFA ground troops and vehicles quick meat, as their raging fighter jets bombard enemy positions. There's another sound in the air though... oh no! The SFA has planes too, but it was suspected all along. These planes are quite old and outdated, but they still stand in strong numbers. The SFA airforce has D-36, F-86 Sabres, and even Canadian copied technology! Who knows how they got this, but the models are crude remakes of the original and some even lack the equipment most of those planes in the 50s had. Nonetheless, they still impose a threat as they bomb from the skies, but F-15 and F-104 planes quickly dice them up. Surprisingly, they do take some UN casualties with them. Blue: a Large amount of SFA control Red: a Large amount of UN control (note: the controlled areas aren't the only areas troops are in, it just means that the specific area is under total control by a certain force) Bombing runs have begun on Oxford, and troops rush into Meridian to begin conquest. SFA control outside of the main cities and highways is not so prevalent, but teams focusing on flushing out SFA members hiding out in smaller towns as begun. As for the evaluation of the cities, everything is not a loss. Some towns saw very minimal SFA occupation and some not at all. Some were burned to the ground though... It seems as if larger cities were the ones who faced the most economical wreckage, and the smaller ones got away... Mississippi is still in a social wreck though, you would be lucky not to encounter gangs or raiders.
