  1. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/aanleiding ;)
    That doesn't count as a forum-related question, though. :p

Isn't the Piwi Certificate more than enough? ;) (you aren't allowed to transfer that, though, while with this you could if you wanted!)
    Hm, probably, yeah.
Whoa, now that's one question! I also like how you managed to include real-life in your forum-related question. :p
I have gotten a lot more social during the past 6 years. Both EMC, and my high school class played a very big role in that. I have been diagnosed with PDD-NOS, and it's really unique for someone with autism to be as socially capable as I am. :p But of course it's easier behind a screen, as I can reply at my own time, and I don't have to show my emotions if I don't want to. With many of my IRL friends, I also like to talk online: I know some people who don't really like that as opposed to talking using their voice, and being together physically, but I do really appreciate communicating in the form of written text (including emoticons!), as it makes it easier for me to say things I'd otherwise find hard to express.
I am very creative in other areas too. I am not very good with my hands, so, unlike my sister and to an extent my mother, I don't bake cakes, design decoration, draw, or craft.
However, with the introduction of computers, I can still be very creative without those skills!
The three main areas I express my creativity in are computers, music and language. I usually enjoy music most of the three, but in my future career, I'd like to go for the computers area. Computer stuff is getting more and more important nowadays, and I think people with autism have actually generally got an advantage in this field. :)

  2. What's your favorite aspect of EMC's forum page?
  3. No I'm a hoarder/collecter per say so if I did get another book, it isn't going anywhere :D

...and thanks for the responses! I appreciate your including us all in your journey. You are definitely good with words and very creative. Keep up the good work and happy future posting!

  4. Wow, thats a lot of posts! May have to change your name to reflect that...

So a question eh? So, just how many words do you think you have total in all your posts?!? Gonna be quite a high number. (Though probably not quite as many as Shell... haha)

Congrats, ...and.... what is your favorite promo anyhow?

and some nostalgia... how bout THIS old post :)

  5. How do you mean?

    Change my name? Why?

Hm, I really wouldn't know. The average amount of words in my posts is probably lower now than it was two years ago, as I've started some forum games that require very little typing.
Of course, only self-written words should be counted, and not quoted words. I think I might still have more words written than Shel... although I can't be positive. I write quite some long posts as well from time to time, and Shel has also participated in forum games. I have got over twice as many posts as he does, and I'm not sure if his posts are on average over twice as long...
    it's an interesting question. :)
I don't really care much about promos. As a favourite, I'd pick the Everlasting Axestopper, though.
That thread started with Hi. That's where my intro of Hi, it's me again! comes from! It took a month or two for the exclamation mark to be added, though. :)

  11. How did you get 4000 forum posts??? Do you live on the forums?? Anyways congartz in your 4,000 post!! :D here's to another 1000
  12. Congratulations on 4000 hexadecimal posts! :D

I know that this is over, I don't care, you never said I couldn't ask questions anymore... (and I don't care that I didn't win the book either, because Jelle has it, so we can share :D)

A question about the forums... ah, I've thought of one! What is your favourite device to browse the forums on, and why? :)

Oh, another question: if there was a thing (or two :D) on the forums that you could change, what would it/they be? :)

And because they say three turn around equals navalstraight (terrible joke only Dutchies might understand :p), what is your favourite feature on the forums? :)

  13. Thanks. :p No, I don't live on the forums, but I spend a lot of my time there. Also, I like having my opinion heard, and I like interacting with others online. So if I read a thread, most of the time I'll post in it as well.
Hm... it might be a good laptop, actually. For more 'serious' stuff (like video editing, speedrunning or graphical work) I prefer desktop pc's, but it's actually pretty nice having the forums portable. The iPad works too, but it's just nice to have a keyboard separate from your screen.
I do miss having a mechanical keyboard, when using a laptop. Besides, my laptop's got its keyboard stickers peeling off, and that doesn't feel the best.

Hm... there are definitely things I'd want to keep the same - I think we've discussed that before on someone's profile, who pleaded for a XenForo update.
But things I'd want to change?...

Ah, well, it could be nice to have a search system that isn't rubbish... nowadays I just always use Google, but in the past I have tried using the function built-in to the forums, and it's only worked about 30% of the time, for really stupid reasons.
And well typing this, another issue kept occurring, but I didn't even realise it as I've gotten so used to it: when using the Rich Text Editor, the font keeps getting reset whenever you make a change to anything. This is especially annoying if you're using a lot of italics in your post, as every time you enable or disable italics the font gets reset.
This is only an issue when using the Rich Text Editor, but on pc, I always use it, also because it's kind of nice to be able to use ctrl + I for italics. But it shouldn't reset the font... that doesn't happen on other XenForo forums, by the way. It might be a bug that got fixed shortly after this forum never got updated anymore.

I think I get part of your joke now... but it's really weird. xD
My favourite feature... you! ;) Haha, just kidding.
I'm not sure what to use as a reference... other forums in general? Other XenForo forums? The internet in general?
