  5. There hasn't been a poll, but I think the vast majority of people don't want a reset. Phew.
  6. we JUST did a reset, if we do another one so soon the time I spend on EMC will dramatically drop to practically nothing. even suggesting it makes me angry.

I LOVE how people who live exclusively in town always call for resets right away and are more concerened about their own convienience, and completely IGNORE all the hard work and time that resets destroy.
  7. Here here!
  8. bottle of enchanting is extremely slow to level up. grinders are still way faster.

  9. agreed mr. King of Ze Wild! *High Five to Wildy surviving!*

This is an interesting update.. My opinion: Scoooreee! I have a bunch of villagers over 10 stacks of them this will make it super easy to sell villagers BECAUSE they have a purpose now!!

    Thank you Mojang!
  10. Main reason I bought them was because they looked funny behind stalls.
  11. Havent really tested them out, but in my singleplayer i used 9stacks of bottles and got ALOT of xp. I've enchanted at least 50tools with 45+ lvl each time. And i still have xp, =P
  12. I have a silk pick :(
  13. This will probably not affect the world drastically. This is not a biome its just a new generated block. There should be no reason to have a new "reset", we are fine the way we are but to find these rare ores you will have to walk 5k+ blocks or more to find these new currency. So as far as Justin, server owners, and I are concerned there should be no reset required. Let the amazing race begin! :p
  14. There's a cooldown so when you trade with a villager, you can't trade with him again for some time.
  15. -On Wild Reset Debates-
You can pretty much just go down the list of posts and figure out which category each poster fits into:

"lives in wild, doesnt want all work and creations destroyed"
    or
"lives in town, doesnt want to walk more than 3 minutes to gather materials"
  16. Don't worry... JustinGuy won't reset unless he does a poll for the community... if the community chooses yes.. then it will happen cause the majority of the community would of said yes. I don't really think there should be a reset cause these updates aren't as awesome :\ besides being able to grow cocoa beans
  17. If they reset then we will get a set amount of time before the reset and free wild vaulting and egging
So we can place all the stuff in our vaults
PLUS any destroyed chest will get a full refund
I still would like if we could not reset the Last Light outpost on smp7
Mabye we could put an area around it (kinda like the Yellow reset area)

  18. Im aware of all of this information already, I was here for the last reset and voted on it, so I'm totally familiar with how resets unfold. If there's a vote it will be for the reset, as it was last time, because there are more people that live in town than the wild, and the prospect of having everything reset and closer to spawn it more important then feeling compasion for the wild people. It basically comes down to this for people who live exclusively in town: "Vote no to reset and lose/gain nothing, vote yes and LOSE nothing (because they dont have anything built in the wild) but GAIN access to closer materials and a facelift on the area outside spawn." Hands down the vote will be FOR the reset.

But DONT worry! You have plenty of notice before they destroy all the work you've done that took you hours and hours to complete. I'm not "worried" about not being notified, Im "worried" because we are going to lose all we built for the convenience of towns folk.

And simply saying "oh, well you knew the risk of building in the wild" does not excuse the fact that we JUST had a reset not too long ago and people are all already wanting to jump on the "lets do a reset again' bandwagon.
  19. Don't worry.. I understand ;) Just people get lazy when it comes to getting resources in the wild and I am currently living in the wild so :p
  20. Imo, the ideal solution is to just spawn a new server so people can go harvest emeralds on it, inside the PRA.

Destroying peoples creations for a silly villager trading item would cause many people to quit, most likely myself.

I supported the last reset even though I lived in the wild because of the technical NEEDS to do it, to enable Periodic Reset on all servers, but for this, its unthinkable.
