All the spots have been taken! All 30 players have been registered. Yes, a lot of people tried to get extra spots. The contest still ends in Feb., though. So, we added 20 extra spots!

What the hell... this is "guess your favourite number" which was between 1-30. Now it's between 1-50?

There's being nice and being completely illogical. Are you're being completely illogical. It's actually unfair on everyone who has entered. If your favourite number was never between 1-30 then your giveaway is ANOTHER scam of yours. You cannot change your favourite number just to be nice. I had a feeling this would be some sort of sham when I first posted. Looks like I was right.

This is not a scam. It's not the best giveaway either. Scamming implies she is stealing. At first I thought you were over exaggerating, but then I went through the replies. It's alright to pick numbers, but it just won't work with what it looks like she is doing.

Kitty, I am all for giveaways, but I read a single post that immediately changed my mind on what is happening in this giveaway. In this thread, you quoted a number (17) and said it was the closest one yet.

This is not the best way to run a giveaway. You should give as little information about the number as possible so that everybody has the same exact chance. Furthermore, you shouldn't do this after players have guessed.

If you want my advice, you should use random.org to prevent any possible bias and make it fair to everybody. Picking a number in the beginning then adding spots makes it unfair to the late joiners because there is no way they can win.

I think what Nfell is trying to ask is what the point of entering a number between 31-50 might be if your favorite number is 1-30.

It is a good idea not to reveal what the number might be before the giveaway is over.

If you like though, you could open this thread up to more people and also prevent anyone from being able to say you're not going to fulfill the giveaway by picking a random number 1-50 with random.org and telling myself (or another mod) what it is (and obviously we can't enter), before revealing the winner when those 50 spots are up. That's up to you though
