what type of gaming computer should i get?

  1. I can run minecraft fine on a single AMD Radeon 6850, But I bought a second one soon after because I wanted even more power :D

    Here are my specs
    Motherboard: ASUS M588V EvO
    Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2Ghz BE
    Memory: 8192MB RAM
    Hard Drive: 1 TB
    Video Card: AMD Radeon 6850 X2 in Crossfire
    Monitor: 21 inch? Acer V223HQ
    Sound Card: Built into the motherboard
    Speakers: jWIN
    Keyboard: Microsoft one.
    Mouse: Microsoft one (I just went with what I knew)
    Operation System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

  5. I know it has the same stuff in reality but its smaller for my smallish hands but its great when im on 5600 but it wont go higher :p

    has fast graphics, and a bunch more... you know, the one that will cost a couple thousand and leave your bank account look like ... well, i drew a blank (inset comment about something being as low as something, making is seem really low... uhm like. bank account look as low as (some sort of drained river)) LOL

    my best friend has a mac, and it fails at soooooooo much.

  13. Please remember minecraft itself requires more processor than graphics card. It's also pointless to buy 100000 cores, mainly because most games use at maximum 3-4 of them.

  14. For minecraft for example a 4 core running at 3.6ghz it's better than 8 core @3.4 :)

  15. This is true, I just tried it running my 4 core 3.2ghz at 3.2ghz and averaged about 196 FPS, I dropped it to 800Mhz and it dropped to 18.

  20. My suggestion: Get a gtx 680 & a intel i7 3770k (soon to be released)

    Your comp will crush anything.
