I setup a base 13,000 blocks from the frontier and I keep getting timeouts and I get kicked, is to do with the shear distance out? I have a mate on the same base and he gets it too so its not my net.

The server seems to have some latency. you see that with doors, chests etc. /tps seems fine. Placeing signs are dealyed to before the text box appears.

Add, teleportation is going wrong to with the portals. you end in the floor after a while it seems to jump back to the correct position. Its start to get the shape of HUGH lag. its only getting worse.

Jumping back and forward in time.

This is not sofar i can see a connection problem between me and EMC but more something strange on the server. switching from town to waste or wild or nether is doing very weird. As example , end to low in a floor block. after fewe seconds thats mostly fixt. This problem costs me now 100 rupees to, because its not safe to drive a donkey. still laggy. This never happend to me. It takes really very long before changes appear. and your in the correct spawn location. Looks like you end 1 block to low, and after 10-15sec things get corrected. tracert gives 131ms thats good. ping the same. something changed between today and tonight for me. This on SMP9

I dont know where EMC is located so i cannot do a speedtest.

Any reason i just crashed twice when attempting to tp to the smp4 spawn? Once when using /spawn, then the second time when i relogged.

Is it me or is the server not letting anyone in at the moment. I keep getting the server is down for maintenance...
Now I got the server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request... lol

Hey SMP2 having drowning issues in portals on waste, cant go form south to east for example well cant go any where once ive tped there from home. tried re booting running around standing still nothing, been on since about 10 am uk time on and of all day and its been happening on and of all day

Certain portals in the Wastelands are broken, but they all work from the center spawn.

Just use the commands to go to the /waste spawns. /waste c,n,e,s,w,ne,nw,se,sw

I'm in the nether on smp4 and my food bar is going up and then it drops for a second then regenerates again without me eating. I am on 1.8.0 btw.

is the [RESTRICT] thing on the signs supposed to be for chests? i cant get it to work.

I was mentioning something similar in the other thread, currently restrict signs do not give players access to the chest, so you need to give the player container and the restrict sign. It'll probably be changed in the future, though.

i was trying to use it to make a private chest so my res admins couldnt get in

Residence admins have access to all the chests, regardless if there's a restrict sign or not.
