Today I have implemented a new rupees system. This was done to add more functionality to the system (future updates) and address some bugs. We are no longer running iConomy, we are now running a proprietary Empire Rupees system. Don't worry, all your hard earned rupees have been transferred to the new system! You can now view your rupees history and other information on the website! Click Rupees on the top to see yours now. Breaking Change: Rupees no longer support fractions. This means that player shop signs with fractions (such as 1.5 or 0.01) will no longer work. If you wanted to sell something for 0.5 rupees just make the quantity 2 and sell it for 1 rupee. You can now use /r as a shortcut instead of /rupees. After a lot of community discussion we have decided to remove the rupees leaderboard and rankings. But have no fear, we are working on some better ways to have leaderboards that are not based on rupees (XP will be part of it). Now that this new system is in place we will be adding more ways to earn free rupees in the next few days. This was a large systems change and I just wanted to get the core in place first. As with any large update please be vigilant for bugs and report them to me (you can click on my name on the left to send a private message). I tested this new system the best I could but the community will be the real test. Thanks to everyone who keeps sending in so many wonderful suggestions. But have no fear, we will have a better type of "top/rank" that I am working on that isn't tied to rupees. It will be much better in the end I promise

I am unable to collect XP balls. They just orbit me around my head but they do not collect for some reason. not sure if this is a client bug or a server bug.
Hmm I didn't update anything that would have changed that BUT I can say MC is pretty buggy haha. Maybe you are maxed out (not even sure if it is possible)? Anyone else had this happen to them? My best GUESS would be that they are XP orbs that somehow didn't created on the server so your game thinks they are there but the server does not know about them.
im pretty sure its not possible to max out. i know that because i have seen quite a few vids where they speed up the footage showing them getting over level 100.
that is a Minecraft bug that has to do with Notch coding and stuff they sometimes will float around you for a while and you will gain them after a while don't worry =) it isn't a server bug ^_^
How would we go about setting up a donation chest now? If you can no longer set the price as a fraction.. (0.0001) Unless you have made support for 0.00?
Impressive, most impressive, the Emperor will be most pleased. I like the new "bank" account feature. Now I can check the balance even when smp1 is full
I think this would lead to alot of people posting alot of unnecessary garbage on the forums just to get extra rupees or xp, how many fleas their dog has or how long it took them to eat breakfast, for example.
