  2. I think about 8-9, it does really do well, at (about) maxed settings, but if you play like I do, with multiple accounds all on quite tough places, it slows down quite something, and I sometimes even have to close down accounds.

  5. Since I got my new pc, I'd definitely say 10.
    Before, it was about 8, and before I got my new graphics card, 6, as I couldn't really play with a render distance of above 3 chunks.

    From the diagnostics, it looks like your new PC uses Intel graphics for Minecraft. If this PC has a separate graphics card you may have to enable it for Minecraft. My kid did this on the PC he uses and he significantly improved his framerate.

    • AMD FX-8120 OC'd @ 4.10 GHz
    • Gigabyte 970A-DS3P AM3+ motherboard
    • 12GB of 1400MHz DDR3 Memory
    • GTX 950
    My client is currently utilizing 8GB of ram.
    Here's my town FPS:

    Average: 155
    Minimum: somewhere around 80-90
    Maximum: 200+

  9. Honestly, there are some rough spots, so I'd say 8. In some large residences, my fps holds up around 40-50, even with 32 draw distance. :)

  10. From your screenshot it looks like you don't have a graphics card. As said above you might have it disabled. I don't think a desktop with a cpu like that wouldnt have a dedicated gpu.

  14. I pretty much always have shaders on, and I'd rate it around a 8, because at 2560x1080 it can't always push out at my monitors refresh rate.
    Then again, it couldn't at 1920x1080 either, and the framerate was about the same, so I don't know what's really going on.

    The Radeon RX 480 you have is one of the most capable graphics cards. Shaders is one of the most demanding graphics mods. It seems to be a good match, but you may be able to improve things. From your diagnostic screen, it looks like Minecraft is allocating the default 1G of graphics memory and I think your card has 8G. You can adjust this in Java settings in the Minecraft profile editor (when you start the game). Another item to check is to ensure that the RX 480 is not running in some power saving when running the Minecraft java executable.

  17. Enabled by default would make too much sense. In the laptop my kid uses, the embedded graphics in the Intel CPU ran graphics for Minecraft by default until the graphics card was assigned. It looks like the Intel CPU in your PC is doing the same thing.

    Your graphics card likely has a utility which assigns it to specific programs. Run the utility and assign Minecraft and/or the Java executible in your Minecraft profile editor. The profile editor also allows you to increase the resolution significantly giving you a bigger picture into the world. You will know the graphics card is assigned because you will see the name of the card in your F3 diagnostics (and your frame rate will go up). If this works for you, post another screenshot and I'll update my list.

  19. Hm, can't find anything, I'm not sure if I have a graphics card, then.
    I could perhaps put the one from my old pc in but I don't feel the need for that, as it works fine as is. :)

  20. On my cell so will keep it short...

    I get around 500 to 600 fps at spawn depending on the server with all my settings to the max with 9 mods running...

    With no mods I get 550 to 650 depending on the server.

    I7 4700 cpu with 3.4 overclock ability
    16 gb ram
    Gtx 870m with 3gb dedicated ram separate from the 16gb
    4 internal 500gb ssd
    5 external 4tb hard disk drives
    As well as 2 Linux servers running connected to it 80% of the time...

    Hope this helps...

    I would rate this laptop a 10..

    Edit at my mall I get around 800fps...
