  1. Back to the paddock now to look at what everyone else has to offer. I was looking mainly for classics, so I was pleasantly surprised to see this lowered mk2 VW Jetta among all the other cars :D

While the event has mostly shifted over to more modern cars and modified cars now, you'll still see me picking the best of the crop with the classics! One of my favourite cars ever, this modified Audi Coupe GT... such an awesome car that we've seen at Castle Combe various times now, and it never fails to disappoint! Just look at that :)

  2. Some more classics :)

Peugeot 205 GTI, with the rallye stripes up front!

Vauxhall Nova (blue), early Ford Fiesta (red), Ford Escort ahead

Still a good classic presence which made it better :)

  3. Full on rally Micra...

One rare car you don't see about much, the Toyota Paseo... I think the model probably looks quite good when modified to a certain extent, this looks alright but not sure it would be my own choice!

  4. Classic K10 Nissan Micra, modified

A mk1 Renault Clio, as with many of these, once a common sight, now not so much! This one looks a bit meatier than the others

  5. The classic Fiat 126 is an awesome car, and we have seen Gadge's gloriously restored 126 as well as another 126 that was on air suspension, but here is one that we haven't seen before...

Not sure how I feel about the colour combos on this one but it is a 126 nonetheless :)

  6. Now one of my favourites, that glorious red Audi Coupe... good shot too if I do say so myself :D

Those early quad lamps too, definitely need one of these

  7. Ford Granada mk2 I believe...

One seriously cool Series 2A Land Rover! Love the camo look!

  8. Classic Minis lined up, you can never go wrong with these!

You can always bet on them being at shows :)

Don't often see these though, Renault Clio V6! Proper big engine in such a small car

  9. One neat line of super clean cars... a couple of favourites from that row, starting with this awesome yellow Datsun!

What looks to be a full kitted out, recently resprayed/rebuilt VW Caddy Mk1. The engine looked better than it should come from factory...

  10. There was a little bit of drifting action as this event. My shots this time for the drifting section weren't as good as other times, I did get a couple though and in my defence this corner is harder to take corners at than Quarry because there are more obstacles to take into account and the angle is odd, especially being farther away from the track. The best shots for drifting came out at Japday I believe it was at Quarry corner, looking at the cars oncoming from the end of the corner, whereas this time I took photos from the back of the cars as they turned into Camp corner! Still got this one of a Nissan 180SX!

Drifting is fun to watch and a lot of fun to be a part of too, but sometimes it's not always sunshines and rainbows, as this Nissan Silvia S14 found out the hard way...

  11. Some Pontiac American muscle on the parade lap!

An interesting shot of my red Panda on the parade lap next to the no ovetaking sign... no worries because the parade lap was just a traffic jam anyway. I tried to get my green Panda on, myself drive that and my father in the red Panda, though the parade lap supposedly ran out of space by the time I got to it. I was only a few cars behind too. Real shame and a disappointment seeing as how I signed up and had my parade lap pass, but it is what it is! It gave me the opportunity to go to the track side to get this picture anyway, and a couple more that you shall see soon!

  12. The Abarth, Panda and Uno Turbo from the Fiat stand heading back into the paddock after a ride around the track...

Vauxhall Corsas have never done much for me, but this original Corsa B GSI 16v looks pretty cool now, suppose it comes with age... still doubting a Corsa C or D will ever look cool to me though!

  13. Classic Minis still seem to show up a lot, but this Police early spec one really caught my eye!

Daihatsu Charades are properly rare now, underrated cars by the sound of it but I've never experienced one!

  14. Still one of the coolest Audis, this Sport saloon...

It was a bit wet for the drift cars but that didn't stop them coming out and having even more fun!

  15. That R32 Skyline steering angle...

Almost at the end of this album now, there is another album from a recent car event available for sharing after this, and after that it will be time for the next 4x4 meet so things are tying up nicely! I believe Audi Driver Internation is coming up this Saturday so watch out, that may throw a lot more pictures in the mix ;)

  16. The Fiat Uno Turbo on track! The first time I've seen one take to the actual track at Castle Combe - probably the first Uno Turbo I've seen at Combe altogether actually!

While not taking pride of place next to the rest of our cars on the Fiat stand, the Uno Turbo was blitzing it around the track. Overtakes and a good pace... good going for the oldie! :D

  17. BMW drifting - different from the JDM we normally see :)

A Spitfire and Uno Turbo off around the corner, ending out photoshoot from the event...

  18. Cracking open the next album now - Tetbury Classic Car show. I wasn't planning on going to this until the morning of the event. It was a rainy day so while the turnout was quite good, cars left quite early, which means I missed the Audi quattro and Fiat Panda 4x4 that were apparently there, but I threw my Panda 4x4 into the mix anyway! :D

Here we go, starting off with a glorious Renault classic, the GT Turbo!

Really shooting up in price now and becoming ever rarer, once a car anyone could buy. Back when I was at college, one of my lecturers said that back in the day he had one I believe as his first car. He said he loved it, and it was cheap back then, but it was problem after problem and essentially fell apart after only a few days/weeks of driving. Those were the days you could just throw it away and get another one... now, not so much, well worth restoring!

  19. Audi Driver International was today so a LOT of pictures from that, and only next week am I going to the 4x4 meet as well, so there's going to be tons of pictures to get through over the winter period (which is great as events tend to die down then!) - for now, we are sticking with the French theme at the Tetbury Classic show...

...with these glorious Renault Clio mk1 Williams editions!

But what's better than French? Italian! The classic Fiat 126p, one seriously cool dinky little Fiat, which can come with one seriously big price tag or if not then a seriously big amount of work to be done on it... it will always be one of the coolest little looking classic cars!

  20. The 126 among its predecessor, the Fiat 500 classic!

One of the coolest VW Beetles I've seen, looks quite an early one too!
