I may possibly go to a race day at Castle Combe this month - all Castle Combe events I have been too have been action days so far, but I haven't gone to a proper racing day where everyone is out to compete. If I go then I'll get some picture for y'all! As for next month, we've got a few things in store... I'll be going to Forge and Rallyday, both very popular and exciting action days with plenty of opportunity, and I may also be going to Mini World which is essentially a large group of Minis!
At the end of the month, there are two events in one day... There's a "live action day" at Haynes Motor Museum and there's a race day at Castle Combe. I'm not sure which one to go for yet!
I was wondering what you all thought was better for YouTube videos of cars... 1080p at 30 frames, or 720p at 60 frames?
Not quite sure what you're trying to say... You've already said nice pictures before here and so has tedrocker, so what do you mean with this post? ^ Looking for opinions on this. Please back it up if you can, thanks all.
I'd think 720p at 60fps. The difference between 30fps and 60fps is always quite noticable, and especially for fast things like cars it's very nice. 720p and 1080p isn't actually that big of a difference, compared to 30fps and 60fps, which is only half of the other. Also, my monitor isn't even 1080p, so I'd miss quite some pixels anyway I can view 1080p on my iPad, though. But still, I think framerate matters more, especially because it's doubled.
Uh-oh, I think FDNY saw a post of mine not using Verdana... D: I quickly fixed it, but not quick enough
I think you may have a good point there. I checked my DSLR however and it says I can use 1080 at 25p or 720 at 50p. I assume that means that it would actually be 50 frames per second at 720 rather than 60? Is that still worth using? 50 frames is still twice as good at 25, so perhaps it is, but I'd like your opinion on it
Well, I'd say yes, as it's still twice as good, indeed. I looked up information, and 720p 50fps should work just fine on YouTube, definitely when using Google Chrome.
720p at 50FPS did you mean, rather than 25? The 1080 videos I have at the minute are in 25FPS, they're on YouTube (I can fetch one for reference if you want)
