About the rails, of course we can use any material and I guess at some point we will build a second track parallel to the one we have already. But this is for later, so you might want to keep the rails for now until we start with the second track. Thanks for the offer, thought

IMPORTANT:
Lately we had quite some issues with griefing and stealing. I wanted to ask you, the People, what you think about it and if you might have a suggestion how we can prevent this in the future?
There are several reasons, why it happens.
Mostly it has to do with the nature of Carthaga: It is an open community where everybody can join. But even if it was 'invite only' we could not make sure there are no thieves around.
I think, most of our members, including me, believe in the good side of people and wouldn't have imagined to become victim of a crime. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work out. Therefore I would like to ask everybody to set up at least one locked chest where you can place your most valuable stuff. That will increase safety for everybody.
Another thing is all the information that we share on the forums. It is obvious from this thread, how and where to find Carthaga. This information is of course also available for malicious subjects. Also, it is obvious that Carthaga has some valuable goods.

My first action will be to set up some more signs, telling people that we have no tolerance for griefers and that we caught about 3 griefers already resulting in a ban.

Please post below, if you have some more ideas how we can live safe and peaceful.

Sadly, I do think that if we hadn't displayed the directions, none of this would've happened. But, there are other precautions we can take, such as locking chests and beacons, distributing goods, instead of having a public storage open to everyone, and hide chests... Wether it be underground or in a tree somewhere, your valuables have a much better chance in surviving a looting.

Well, any blocks placed after a certain date are recorded by the 'grief monitor' or something, so the mods know who did what to the blocks. This will take a long time, but I suggest breaking and replacing your houses, so they will be able to know who did it. (Broke it)

I was on my way to the PoC, and I was killed, and lost my supplies, which included, food, wood, torches, and diamonds. I don't think I'll be able to get it back, and now I think I'll need help going to PoC. Can anyone help me?

I'm at the Gold Farm, and /entcount is maxed. We have almost 200 Animals and the rest is Monsters, so there are absolutely no Pigmen spawning. I will also try to light up some caves and see if that will help.

I have never been to PoC, and I was searching for the nether rail entrance.

Then portal system resets every few days got though one then go back out it will fix it

I think the structures in Carthaga are all young enough for the block-breaking-detection. At least some incidents could be solved by looking at the logs for block-breaking. So, that should be good

Did you now made it out to Carthaga or the rails? If not I pm you more detailed instructions. But it is basically only one little trick at the Wet castle.

Don't worry I already found it and placed some signs just outside nether rail entrance so people find it easier.
I have settled on the outskirts to the west(?).

Um with the signs plz remove them cause we don't want to lead greifers right to us
