Fully intending to take my time with this. I've got one full sketch of a character so far and the outline for my panels and the 'story' itself. So glad you guys are giving a month for this, I never liked it when teachers only gave you, like, two days for a complete watercolor painting. (and this was elementary school! pffft...two days. Not for this artist.)
Alice's idea sounds good, do a Powerpoint > Screenshot it > Crop it to be the slide in view (unless it is that already) > Upload to imgur album > Fill out submission form for the contest with link to ablum on imgur
*digs through alerts to find this* I've seen an entry to this, the competition is hard o.e' I don't have much of a chance of winning this, even if I do ever finish my entry. I'm simply not funny enough
I'll agree the competition is hard, but it is worth the shot and I have to be honest and say they are fun to make too!
Fun unless you're a procrastinator with a perfect procrastinating environment, complete with 2 DSs, sketch books and too many games It's not fun xD
Trying balancing that all with the addition of college finals, home life and other people's stupidity. :I
I ended up deciding not to enter. The prizes are tempting, but when you throw procrastination, lack of ideas, poor sense of humor, and bad drawing skills into a pot, the end result is definitely not comic strip soup. Good luck to all who do enter, though. I look forward to reading some winning strips!
Nearly done with character designs ^.^ With what times left though, I'll probably just end up keeping it a black and white ink scan. All my art programs are gone, so I'm stuck with classic freehand
Bump, since this isn't on the front page anymore I feel the need to constantly remind people~ (And give myself a little reminder)
