What happened to video games? RPGs became to linear and fast-paced. Zelda got an all-time easy hint system, sonic slowed down. Jak and Daxter went to the Last of us. And... Guns. Too many guns.
From what I've seen of the pre-Square Enix published games, it wasn't doing too hot before them either
There are plenty of non-linear, fast-paced RPGS. Many of them are indie games and don't get noticed as well. And IMO: The Last of Us -> Jak and Daxter. And to be fair on TLOU, J&D got replaced by Uncharted. Uncharted, it seems, is about to get replaced with TLOU (what with the final Uncharted releasing next year and TLOU2 apparently getting announced next year). I also think 2015 is the beginning of a golden age of gaming. There's so many great-looking games coming out in the September - November period (starting with Avalanche's Mad Max on September 1st, and for me, concluding *I think* with Fallout 4 on November 28th) that look so much better than most things before it.
There are a lot of bad games, but I can't name them all here. Resident Evil 6 Call of Duty: Ghosts Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Five Nights at Freddy's (all versions) Garry's Mod Counter Strike: Global Offensive Destiny (this game is like a cheeseburger with just the buns) Grand Theft Auto V (console editions) Battlefield 4 Battlefield: Hardline Clash of Clans Boom Beach
Well that's funny, my cousin thinks that destiny is the best game ever, i seem to like it also, i wish i had a copy
More bad games FNAF a series, OK game, too many theorists that it makes me sick when brought up Any FNAF fan game
I love the theories but the games are crap. FNAF 2 was actually pretty okay, but it just went downhill after that. wat (Is Garry's Mod even a game? Without add-ons like Prop Hunt, etc.? I've always thought of it as something more like Universe Sandbox... where you mess with physics...) You and your cousin are two of the only people I've ever heard of to like the game. I know one person who pre-ordered the game and wishes he didn't. I'd like to congratulate Bungie on giving the rights of Destiny to another developer and starting on a new IP, lel.
Oh my god I loved that game! It was a game of my childhood, and though it may have been awful...the nostalgia.
It's actually alright. And compared to Sonic '06, Unleashed, Lost World and Rise of Lyric, it's a great game in the franchise
I did enjoy the game as a kid, play it a few years later and you realize it's cheesy as heck (I'm not gunna curse, I'm paranoid of being banned ) Finally, edit button decides to save me from embarrassing type fail
If you were going to say what I think you were going to say, that kind of language is allowed on EMC. Anything said that isn't offensive or targeted towards anyone is okay, I believe.
