      I gave my friend my RTX 3080. I no longer need it anymore, and it'll be a major upgrade for him from his 1660.

        That’s cool! The 3080 was built to run in a 4th gen lane, but it shouldn’t noticeably hurt anything assuming they’re running it in a 3rd gen lane. Unless they expect every ounce of speed of course, it will be a great upgrade. It may also be worth mentioning to check that the power supply is still sufficient for the setup after the upgrade.

      If anyone sees caves that have an obscene amount of torches, sorry, that was me. Minecraft caves are pitch-black on my CRT, even with brightness set to 100%, unlike an LCD panel. Truly the hardest difficulty one could even fathom for Minecraft. Spooky.

        I tend to double down in the deepslate layer but only do as much as I need to in the stone layer. I can see the stone layer fine as long as there's any light, but deepslate is a much darker rock, straining my eyes.

        By Microsoft themselves, you will receive no more security updates after Windows 10 dies. Alternatively, you could pay for an extension to your Windows 10 license, though it comes at a cost. The number doubles each year, up to year 3, before Windows 10 is entirely unsupported for those who paid for a license extension.

        I don't use Windows, but when you go to your control panel, I think(?), it should either say if you can install Windows 11 or not. If not, then you can attempt to upgrade, for free, using the Windows 11 upgrade tool from Microsoft.

        Alternatively, you could buy Windows 10 LTSC, which is supported my Microsoft until 2032. My friend did that, though the upfront cost is expensive!

        I cannot speak for other Linux distros, but Linux Mint Cinnamon has dark mode for desktop, and it looks great. Cannot wait to try it out on Wayland when I get a chance! <3
