Chicken and the rest of the team has been working hard on the plugin level. This has been a great parallel effort, I appreciate it greatly!

I have no idea what you are talking about (a bunch of coding stuff) but I get that it's moving us forward towards 1.13 and a lot of work has been done to get us there.. Whooot!!! Thanks Aikar and the Dev team.. including our newest mod chickeneer who's put forth a lot of effort as well. ;D

for the server side, 2. It goes CraftBukkit (not us) > Spigot (not us) -> Paper (us, but community project. A peer is helping) - this is "part 1" -> then finally, EmpireCraft, our custom version of the server software.

Paper has 320 "patches" that change the code, almost every one fails to apply.

when mojang goes rewriting how the game functions, we have to re-approach many of our changes and see how to make them work on the new code base.
