how do i become supporter when nobody in my house will let me use theirs cause mine expired yesterday
You should upgrade to something like 64 slots. There are hosting for 64 slots for $38 a month. Not to bad. (even has 3.5 GB of RAM)
Our servers run with about 15 GB of ram each, plus the world files run from a ramdisk. If we just made our servers plain vanilla ones, we could easily have 100+. The reason we are a bit more limited is because of the custom plugins we are running. For example the Residence system has to keep track of players movements and actions around 1,500 separate residences. Still we could up the limit but would just have lag issues, one of the reasons we are so popular is we don't have a ton of lag related issues on our server. Try joining and playing on one of those "mega" servers that has over 50 people on and you will see what I mean However we do plan on continually adding more smp servers, smp3 will be next It is hard to compare what we are doing to other servers because we are unique and changing the rules a bit
Ok, thats fine. I've never been on a mega server that was lagging left and right and thought it would be posibal for this server. But I'll just wait my turn.

Is it at all possible for you to tweak the way the server allocates spots? That would be to say is it possible to make it so there are 10-20 guaranteed spots for Non-Supporters? (In my ...unbiased... opinion.) In the sense that I often check the list of online players, and more than 30 of them are supporters. They get a free slot anyway, but they're taking up the pre-full spots. If a server is full of supporters, new people can't play and then support afterwards. So say there are 35 supporters in the server, and ten free members. Those 35 supporters wouldn't take up the reserve spots for non-supporters, meaning that even thought the server is -technically- full, ten more non-supporters would still be able to join. (For lack of anything more witty to say, Supporters don't take up normal space [They take up overflow space] until the non-supporter reserve has been flooded.. Though that wouldn't take much time at all.) I know my opinion is rather biased, as I am not a supporter myself. I understand if this idea is not economical, and I understand that this idea may not be popular. Just voicing my opinion in the most civil way I can think of.

Well, good luck with that. I was thinking you could also make a third server for supporters only. That way you could get supporters for playing that server alone, maybe give that server a lot of good stuff, and have the money people use to get in that server be used for the free servers. I mean, if it's cost-effective, anyway. Don't know exactly how much many more supporters you'd get by doing that.
im sick of being unable to connect when the server tells me player count is 40/45. i cant wait until i get to be a supporter. im fed up with this, cant someone (justin i guess) please try to make a improvement to the log in system.
The only real improvement would be removing the 60 second grace period when someone leaves, but that would suck for people that are in the server and get disconnected by accident
