What you could do is a donation bar (combined with supporters), if you reach for example 200$ everyone will get some stuff/promos and you can put an (impossible) goal to give some epic promos to everyone ^^ Just something that came up in my mind
Find a friend to keep your stuff on, and who would want to have only 1 residence? just earn another residence (after the update), and then you can just keep your stuff on your own residence. Problem solved.
My main motive for asking was to see if I could convert a couple of my four Residences into Vouchers. I originally intended to buy Gold when I went from Iron to Diamond but people were offering Diamond Vouchers so I bought a few. I really only ever wanted two Residences so I was thinking I could give a couple Residences away through Vouchers. As far as my moving example goes, what you suggest is probably the way I would go. Are you saying the people that have had it in the past, or the people that have it when it changes? I ended my gold supportership two or three days ago, so if what you say goes, then would I have access to utopia?
There's a player cap of a low number like 5(not sure about that number, just low). When there are 5 players online, free players that want to join have to wait a few minutes until they can actually join, and then they will be let in. This means you can always get on Utopia, but when the player cap is met already you'll have to wait a few minutes. Supporters will never have to wait, because they have priority access.
I think that if there is already a lack of supporters then increasing prices isn't gonna bring more supporters. Probably end up losing supporters
I for one will be "supporting" with the supporter package when it comes out, as I do not like colour to my name.
Hey this might of already been suggested. But why not add a point system? People can buy points on the site and then use them to get ranks in game, but that'd involve removing the upgrade page and replacing it with a point one.
Free to everyone, though we can potentially create a 2nd utopia frontier that is open to all, and keep current one supporters only (therefor every player has access to same gameplay features), giving utopia a 2nd benefit of having a 1.7/1.8 frontier too.
How about adding an one-time access fee of both rupees and tokens? Although it would inconvenience new supporters, I'd say it's better hardware-wise. As for current supporters, either give them instant access (no fee), or a reduction on the fee, as to make it (sound) fair to "new" supporters/players.
So I'm not sure if this is even possible but can a passive mob be disguised as aggressive mobs? If so this would be a cool perk to give cosmetic supporters for in town only. I'm not sure how it would work, maybe it could be where it would only work on pigs and you could use a command to disguise them when you ride them.
Would be possible, but not something Aikar is looking at doing right now. I believe someone else mentioned something similar
