Better than it closing down. I think that we should maybe try to look for another person to help though, considering how Aikar will now be doing the scripting and "paying the bills, maintaining the servers, monitoring the services, upgrading hardware, advertising, promotions, marketing, etc." Like wow such responsible many job
I'm confused about the last part of the message; Do I need to like 're' support but using the new paypal thing or no?
I think he means that next time the subscription payment or new payment is processed, it will change the account name from Kallandlabs to starlis. I think... that is how i have been understanding it.
I suspect it may still be the same PayPal account - they just went in and changed the owner name on it.
Woah. Uh, I think that where the pyramid has always been, should be where it stays. But, maybe put a grave inside the actual pyramid because... pyramids were used as tombs for the deceased. This would be a monument to JustinGuy; never completed, but always stands.
Congratulations Aikar. I've been on the server for about a year and have enjoyed the experience. That being said… you must have your hands full with your real job and trying to keep EMC running. Especially if you have a wife and kids too. Mojang certainly doesn't make it easy for you as they have updates every few months. I also read that they are releasing an official API (?). I have no idea how this will affect Bukkit etc. Maybe this is why Justin decided to step down?
He has no wife or kids, just a girlfriend. (Maxarias) (Unless events have progressed and I have no idea)
Below was the post I was referring to http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/bukkit-the-next-chapter.62489/ "Now that we have an opportunity to design the official Minecraft API, we intend to make it a suitable replacement for Bukkit, if not a significantly better one, while bukkit.org will remain a community for modders for the foreseeable future."
