  1. Dunno but I've seen farms that had about 100 cows in a 9x9 pit. I'm sure they meet a TON of violations then.

  2. Yes, you're right, 90% of the EMC population does appear to be lazy and prefer the easy mode that EMC offers, rather than building a system to breed and raise villagers the normal Minecraft way.

And as long as we're calling people out, how many of you big-time village traders have ever even tried to do it "legit" in single player? It can be done. Really, believe me, it's not even that hard, it just takes some thought and creativity to do it efficiently, just like any other farming operation in Minecraft. This change would not kill villager trading, it would just require people to be smarter about it instead of spamming eggs and sticks until your fingers bleed.

But you're right, the poll has spoken, and I don't mind being in the minority on this. If the EMC staff want to pander to the majority of their players who prefer this cheap lazy mode, I'll understand. I will still think it's cheap and lazy, but they run the server, not me, and they can decide what they think is best for it.
  3. If we are going to continue to go on about being lazy, might i remind you that we have an economy plugin. We get rupees to sign in, vote, and support. It doesnt get much easier than that to get items or services for yourself.
  4. The economy plugin gives you currency which you can use to buy items, but those items come from other players who had to spend the normal amount of effort to gather them. The reason the empire shop prices are so ridiculously high is that the empire shop really does create new items out of thin air, and the admins wanted to minimize that. Using this egg trick with villagers is similar, because it takes something that's supposed to be rare and valuable and makes it trivial to get -- just spam the egg over and over.
  5. The shop makes it out of NOTHING, Egging still requires an awful lot of effort from the players.

  6. The /shop prices are high to act as a price cap. What im saying is, is that no one has to really do any in game work to get items if they dont want to.
  7. not to mention it costs r in the wild
  8. Guess what for a fact me and origamijoe have on the admin run server hosted by max. care to nit pick some more

  9. Not a Gif but...imma go do this for a while before someone blows up and sets the forum on fiiire again...
  10. As said elsewhere, were not planning to change this now. so going to close this... back to ruining the economy for me, since you guys like it when I do that.

  11. You might want to edit this out then, as this is what people might see first:)

  12. if you do fancy a challenge tho taleden there are other servers that are pure vanilla we will just continue being lazy louts spending hours eggying and reegging to get the trades we want on our lazy nonvanilla server
  13. Nobody abuses it as you say they do. It takes a ton of resources to make doors for a villager spawner. Waiting for them to spawn then egging them accomplishes literally nothing seeing as they take a few minutes to breed anyways. I say no to this.
  14. Is always one person. Honestly, who really cares if its easy to get, anyone can build one and do this.
