If you just divide the coordinates by 8 and place your nether portal in exactly that spot inside the nether you will come out in tthe correct location every time. Height is 1:1 if you ever want to take that into account...
Yeah, good for her. (honestly), though being 19, she shouldn't be drinking anyway. My point is simply that as a teen, you will make statements that you are bound to think are ridiculous as an adult. This is unavoidable and shouldn't make anyone feel bad. Here's a scenario: You have a job as a mid-level manager within a company, and your boss would like to take you out for dinner to discuss your future with the company. He takes you to a nice place, buys an $85 bottle of wine and pours you a glass. What you said when you were 17 or 19 plays little role your decision whether you should drink it, nor should it. Simply put, the older you get, the more you realize that making absolute statements about your future behavior is only setting youself up to let yourself down. By saying, "I will never do X", you are saying that your personality and circumstances are immutable, and that who you are now is who you are going to be for all time. This is folly. Here's how you avoid setting yourself up for personal failure, you say things like: "I don't drink now, and if I ever do, it will be in moderation, and I will try to avoid causing myself or others harm, injury, or distress due to its consumption."
