[Community Discussion] Voting Perks

Sounds really cool however i don't really agree with putting things around your name cause ive been on servers when people have all kinds of stuff around their name and it just makes the chat confusing and colorful idk thats just my opinion on that part

knowing this got bumped I am assuming this is going to take place soon?

Thanks for everyone who's been voting for us. I re-positioned this at the top of the featured posts so it stay in mind. While we are working on other things like 1.4 bugs and Dragon Tomb updates still, THIS update is a little out of sight but NOT out of mind and will come.

It's still important that as many community members still vote daily as our scores have been increasing on the lists!

Keep it up Empire.

Why not make a post on MCF and get everyone to comment with something like: "spread the word"

can you add all the voting sites to the rupees vote section please? that way I can open them all up easily? Thanks!

At this time, we're waiting for the actual full update. One problem with every list site is they all have different rules/settings for the votifier plugin. The work it would take to set them all up properly now would just have to be redone when we get to the actual perk for voting update.

Sorry it's not easier, but it's one of those things we'd rather spend time on productive updates.

Can you guys add links to all the EMC servers on minestatus not just smp1?

If they did it for the others, we could see the votes being 1/10 of what they usually are. smp1 is the real "Empire" server, and they are advertising the Empire, not just one of its servers

I really like this idea but i had an idea. maybe if you had x amount of empire credits then you could buy some sort of EMC merchendise

So I was talking to shaunwhite about the supporter feature that allows you to change your residence message and of course i suggested to create a system where you can use rupees to change it (not going to happen) but oddly enough I didn't really know we can suggest ideas for this vote system because I never took the time to read it. Now that I have, I think you should make res messages changeable by empire credits .

I love the :::Username::: Idea. It would at more deatail to the game, and I would 1: love to vote and donate for all of these 2: show off that I support and like this Idea! ~Shadow Out To Think About This~

I would like to make a suggestion, as mentioned rupees don't mean a lot these days to ppl that have played a for a while they either have enough, more then what they will ever need or are just bothered with them. Also name tags does nothing for me.

Things that would or might interest some ppl

1. A cape maybe that could be the badge different capes for different levels of vote's the rarer the cape design.

2. A rare enchanted item maybe pickaxe with supper strength that lasts much longer then a normal enchanted item.

3. A build up of time up to say a max of 1 hour in the nether with the ability not to take damage of any kind or die. Each vote would give you say 1 or 2 minute's which you can save up and use at any time of your choosing with a command to activate and de-activate.

4. Shop credits that lets purchase rare items from the shop that are normally super expensive.

5. Credits towards getting an ender dragon egg or protected land in the wild.

For ppl that are not fussed with rupees and live in the wild, what they want most is protected land this would be a good way to help get it.

EMC has been a great place for a lot of ppl and deserves promoting it would also be good to see Justguy on the server, even to comment on the home page, if he is still the owner. Its been a long time since I seen him comment even though the rest of the staff do a great job.

I would also like to suggest that some of the villager trades are removed to help stimulate the economy. A lot of ppl played on EMC because they liked the way the economy worked since 1.3 update things have gone to pot and I believe this has had a big effect on the server, and the enjoyment it gave ppl.

Unfortunately, you'd need to install a mod to see the custom EMC capes if this was implemented. :/

Now. That is a good idea. I would love that for going deep into the nether.

About the one day supporter. If we were to trade in credits for a day of Diamond Supporter, would we get the three residence's. Or just one. Another thing to do is make people to be able to purchase residence's at an expensive price or limit regular players and Iron and Gold Supporters to be able to purchase one extra residence. And Diamond supporters none because they already have four.

The credits would only get you Iron Supporter so no problems with that.

Since the 1.4 update (vanilla) there is an option in the menus that allows you to toggle capes on or off on mulitplayer, so I'm not sure if you still need a mod to view/use capes.

We should apply the rewards for voting because I think that compared to other servers the price its not much
