  4. Its only official after 28 days (4 weeks) and even then only if someone asks for the res

  5. Whoops! i Already updated! i forgot about Empire. Hopefully they will update the server within a couple of days:)

  7. No, if you havent been on for 10 days your res can be reset. They wont be resetting any res's during the update though. I have no idea where you got that 28 day idea from. I have seen people's res's deleted after 10 days (without any asking), and have gotten res's deleted after people werent on for 10 via request.

  10. To be honest, a large notice on the homepage is probably enough for most people... I think texting might be a little bit overboard...

    In-game warning for a few days before the update saying "Please don't update until we tell you to do so. More details at Empire.us" would be nice though, for people who don't check the site often.

  18. Some servers have found a way to let 1.4 clients play on a 1.3.2 server - or something like that. I've not got a clue how they've done it, but maybe it would be something good to add to EMC in the future?

    Also, EMC's progress will be just fine. Remember, those servers just have to update Bukkit, as they got all their plugins from Bukkit.org. However, we have custom plugins, so all of them have to be updated too - which is bound to take longer. :)
