Some points I mentioned in my big paragraph include school and whatnot. I guess since it's Fall (atleast on my side of the globe) and school is in session it seems we have fewer players due to everyone not spending all day on the game. People going back to work/not taking as much time off due to kids being out of school.

Possibly but when it was Summer for youse ICC said that players would start coming back when they return to school :/ I think he miscalculated.

It might seem like it to some people but I'm definitely not "anti-EMC," I'm only partly "EMC is beginning to die" because it's true, but instead of complaining, I'm trying to do something about it I encourage everyone to join in, vote today, tomorrow, everyday and encourage Justin to continue the referral contest, completely the new voting perks!

Maybe no return.. but more NEW players have started showing up in the last week than there has been in months.

SMP9 was at a full 60/60 for an hour or so today. It has increased more and more every weekend. This is good for all servers, because those who do not want to buy supporter status will overfill to other servers, spreading out the wealth that SMP9 has been holding up. In about a 2 hour time frame 10 or so brand new players joined the Empire during this time, on just SMP9.

You may not be seeing it, but more and more players are joining. Yes we have lost some along the way. That happens with any community, especially one that changes. I understand you see a slump, but before you start saying there was a miscalculation, you should collect more numbers.

I agree smp3 was down to 15 players when I went on 2 or 3 weeks ago now it is back up to 32-37!

I read it very carefully - twice actually to make sure I precisely understood what you were saying. Your 2nd and 3rd paragraphs were very clear about your dis-like of what the Admins are doing - let me quote you here:

Making a PUBLIC statement to the entire forums about this is actually rude and could easily be considered flaming.

To make such a statement about the actions of our admins and staff - I am sure you went to them privately and asked them what was happening, right?.....

Oh... you didn't?.... You made a bunch of unfounded statements about the actions of the staff and admins without talking with them first? Hmmm.

Let me make this crystal clear for you. In the real world this is called "Libel" and "Defamation of Character". You have made unfounded statements about the persons in charge at EMC and their actions without any evidence to back it up.

If you said this online, it would be called "being a pain in the chat" and you could easily get temp-banned for it. Please be more respectful of the people who are working their posteriors off to give you a nice game time.

Haha no, you're taking in what I'm saying completely differently... You stated your opinion but that's not what I'm getting at at all so I would appreciate it if you backed of a little, all I'm doing is trying to help EMC grow faster, like before. But one more thing - you are 136 days old, so you probably don't understand what I mean when I say "grow like they did before." Not getting at anything you're saying I am.

I also wanted to make something a little more clearer to you Alex, just because there is still very few people on when 'America is waking up' you have to remember, we are waking up. If I am on in the morning time, its usually because I did not sleep, and I never logged off in between. Thats just how I play though. Like now, honestly, just minutes before you were active on the forums, we had nearly 300 active players online. So, you may just be in the wrong time zone to really see the growth that you want to be there so bad .

I actually am on the same page as you and somewhat @Night_triumph, I'm all for what the staff are doing, but just pointing out the things that could be improved on Offensively, yes, but that's what we need. Need to focus more on marketing (put EMC on more sites, offer rewards for them), better communication (all-round) with what's going on, complete things we have started, voting perks (the thread..) and referral contests.

This is me in the day - there definitely appears to be a drop of pacific players and a rise in American players

I'm honestly supposed to be on meds to sleep at night but I haven't had them in months, mix that with constant changing husband's work schedule and my sleep is just messed up. I tend to crash and sleep during the day/morning and be up afternoon and night until early morning. Sadly everyone else seems to be on when I'm asleep sometimes.

I did catch that earlier where SMP9 had a ton of people. I also happened to notice this a while back but just now thought of it, perhaps most of the newer people go to SMP9 because when Servers is chosen, 9 is on top?

All of these things ARE being worked on. Would you rather us rashly put out something that does not work? Yes there is a long list of things, but I can guarantee you that everything you have brought up gets discussed about DAILY. There just needs to be some form of patience. You are demanding results from the Voting Perks idea. Keep in mind, before that thread, it was a simple idea, and we walked away from that thread, with even more to implement that idea. Its not just simply flipping a switch and new things work.

We all wish it were that easy. However, we are seeing a little mini boom the last couple of weeks without implementing anything. Just know that we are working on things. Step by step, what you are suggesting, is being worked on. You question the amount of any additions after the mention of the voting perks thread. Well, work has been done. Major problems with lag and the way entities have been handled, have made the servers run SO much better with even just the small load we have now. Would you rather us push marketing out, and demand new players, when at the time, it would have been full of 1.3 rollbacks, and no more animals in the wild?

You go after Night_Triumph because of his lack of days here. Well, then use your sense from time spent here to understand. You have been here when the servers have been full. When major lag fixes needed to made. When you could go out for miles in the wild and not see one creeper.

I would rather us have a great product to market, than to rush and push something out that people will only come and complain about. We want players to come in and enjoy their time enough to tell others of the fun! Not to spread the word that EMC does not have their stuff together and their servers are laggy . Just understand things are happening. You just may not see every single one. You should be more respectful of that, considering the people behind that do not ask for any recognition. They work, tirelessly, from one project to the next, so we can have a better place to play.
