Hm... a nice idea! It blends in now, which is nice when you don't need to always pay attention to the server someone's on, but I feel like this will make it hard to notice when someone's on a different chat channel than you expect. Unless different chat channels use different colours? I see M-U is light green here, and I'm not sure whether that's because of the Market channel or because of the Utopia server. Edit: Actually yes, I think this is the case. I recall Group chat having a light blue tag, and Residence chat having a blue tag, and Local chat having a yellow tag. I think it's fine, then! Nice solution.
I have a suggestion! When a new player joins EMC, I think all the servers should get the notification for it (for example, "boscodo has started the tutorial on smp4" or something like that). When a new player joins, people on that smp welcome them which is a bit confusing if you're on another smp because the other smps don't know that a new player just joined. Plus, since we now have global chat, we could ALL welcome the new player, not just the people on that smp
perhaps if not already, it might be beneficial for everyone for the spam filter to be re-enabled? also could we possibly get sugma added to the filtered words
