I'm pretty sure that their ideas are much different from ours. I see no problem with letting them organize their own server and host their own games if they choose to do so.

Lol, Look guys there is no need for hostility there currently are three separate events being worked on that I am aware of. Two of them are almost at the launching point if not past it. Honestly the only reason in my opinion why they were shut down when they were was because it was done without consideration for EMC policies or input from the staff.
The owners of each individual event are and will remain the owners of those events./servers. I have no intention of taking over anything that you guys have worked so hard on. My only input in it will be in managing a website for them to work on.

As long as the servers and any administration of them is handled away from EMC I believe it will make ICC and Justin along with the mods happy. We will promote the events as EMC events and direct people to them in private invitations as to not promote servers in public forums. I understand that some of you are frustrated and ready to play unfortunately you met with one of life's biggest buzz killers: Authority.

As soon as the site is ready you guys can start having fun and we can move onto our little project. Sorry that it is taking some time but I have found a few obstacles in my way, namely my job working me twelve to fifteen hour days and the fact that I am far behind the times when it comes to the new web protocols. If any one can offer me any help with site I will greatly appreciate it.

I'd like to be a Peacekeeper: escorting tributes to the arena, keeping the crowd in order during the event, etc. Would that be possible? I personally think it would add more realism to the event.

That wouldn't be necessary. It will be fully automated, and modding is going to be left to the mods, admins, and your own honor, as normal.

You register using the large and obvious bar at the top. Make sure you use your Minecraft username or the site wont let you register. Feel free to start posting on the forums, I need to make sure it's all working. If you do find anything that's broken, post it in the the Help & Support > Report a bug forum.

Hey if you are getting a company to host it use DaddyCheese they are really cheap i'm talking $64 for 4GB and unlimited slots and bukkit or support for your own jar and also FPS client support so use them!.
