The First Loser

A few years ago, Unoski (Zervados, StoneSky, SkyDragonv8, the stone slab king? Yeah, that guy) hosted a series of forum games known as The First Loser. Sadly, he has since left EMC, and with him has gone The First Loser. Since the community seemed to enjoy the few rounds that they played, I've decided to bring it back! \o/

Not sure how many games I'll do of this, we'll see how it goes.

How to play

• Post on the thread saying that you would like to play. The first 25 people to respond will be entered.
• The game begins with 25 players randomly placed in a grid
• Each round the players will fill out a short form to cast their vote.
  • Each round lasts about 24 hours
• After each round, I post the results here.
  • The person with the most votes is the winner and has their own column and row to be immune in the following round
    • This rule may be altered as the game progresses if needed
  • The person with the second most votes is the loser (coined "The First Loser") and is eliminated
• The losers choose the final winner

Rules

• You must vote in each round
  • If not everyone has voted after three days, results will be published ignoring the votes that were not received.
  • Failure to vote in 3 rounds in a row will get you eliminated.
    • If you can, please let me know if you will be gone beforehand. The aforementioned rule will not apply to you if you tell me you will be gone.
• If a tie occurs, it is handled by the last person to be eliminated.
  • Random.org will choose should it occur in the first round
• No alternate accounts
• This game can be played however you want.
  • You may play dirty or clean.
  • Feel free to rally up some votes, bribe people, or team up with others, secretly or out in the open. I am just the host.
• You may not vote for yourself.

Ah, cool!
I had been considering hosting through January, but I didn't really feel like it. But as I think Sky only asked me, I wasn't expecting anyone else to host. It's nice if you do, though, I think he'd like it too.
But why the 5x5 grid?
Oh, and I guess I'm in. I don't do as well, anymore... but I'd like to be either participant or host in every round, if possible.
