Question for Krysyy or Aikar: are super turkeys like mini-bosses where they only spawn once a day for a person or do they just spawn rarely around you?
If nothing's changed since last year I believe it's every 30 mins for each SMP and either 2 or 3 hours per player. Also, first bird of the year! Are they supposed to be this slow? I clattered this one till it was dead and it didn't flinch.
Is there a drop chance for the Turkey Slicer? Or is it random? I've killed a few and have never gotten one...

There is an outstanding issue with the turkeys. They're so fast they sometimes get stuck still and won't move. Tips for those that come across the speedy Gonzalez turkeys though: leads work on them. Killed 3 turkeys so far and already got a slicer! Whoop!
I got 2 trapped Turkeys on my End base... I'm gonna have to make a kill chamber so that endermen can't hurt me when I go to diff 10....
Luck of the draw, my dude - looking back on those three I have killed, I can assure you they can run. IIRC, this was an issue last year and was reported, but was unable to be dealt with because that's just how Minecraft chickens worked when that kind of speed was applied to them. Sometimes they run... sometimes, nothin'. TL;DR: Minecraft chickens are too stupid to use speed correctly soz
Just a heads up, the turkeys are locked on difficulty 5 so adjusting your personal difficulty won’t change anything
Well it feels good on diff 10. Next you’ll probably tell me that the lucky rabbit foot in my left hand does nothing too. 🍗🍗🍗
I enjoy the super turkeys every year. I'm a fan of the holiday season, but turkeys don't hurt you or go around covering your roads, yards, and buildings in snow like Blizz will.
Do you have to have difficulty set at a certain level? because I've killed five turkeys and haven't seen one slicer
