(Suggestion) Chat exclusive to the wild.

Like local chat but exclusively for those in the wild. Sometimes not everyone is gold or diamond. Sometimes you need help or need everyone to sleep in a bed to pass the night away.

Why not allow those in the wild to talk to each other. Without having to form a group or ring via pm.

The point of being out of town is that you're by yourself without the ability to use a global chat. Use local chat and hope someone is nearby. To be honest, if someone answers on "wild chat", they might not even be near you. Local chat means that you know someone is nearby and can actually help out.

This went downhill fast.

-1 A global chat for wild would be annoying and completely destroy the wild aspect. Want to talk to someone that is several thousand blocks out into the wild with group and PM off? With this handy new suggestion just go to any wild outpost and yell at them through the air!

You'd also get people advertising in the wild chat channel just so that anyone in the wild could hear them.

I'm also going to say -1. The reason that there's no global wild chat is quite the same that you can only teleport in safe zones. It's because the wild is meant to be more of a "challenge" where you have to actually survive if you want to get resources. It is true that there will be players who need help, but the group chat and private message feature work no matter where you are and people can use those in the wild. Also,

One and only reason why this idea is a lemon. It'll break down the very fabric of our beloved wild.

Looks like everyone already squeezed the juice out of this idea.

1. If you get lost you can do /map
2. It is relatively cheap to get an iron voucher. With $5 or about 90k rupees
3. When Empires come out the empire will have its own chat
4. When in wild and you need help you can always create a group with /invite playername, or pm someone in town(can check location using /p playername)

The point of /wild is not being alone. The contrary, is being with friends building stuff. That is what the Wild is, and what Empires will be about...

-1, I think the reasons are obvious by know. As an adventurer in the wild having done some incredible expiditons, it can get lonely, but that's what makes it fun.

Like those before me stated, it is nice to get away from the bustle of town. It would be annoying having to endure the constant scroll of text when fighting baddies / expanding outposts.

I give it a 0 being that it is an okay idea but at the same time it has a lot of flaws.

If you need help you could just pm someone as stated above. Asking everyone to go to sleep won't work anyways, because not everyone will be near a bed at all times. You'll have to get used to surviving the night.
