You all need to stop. I could care less about who is right and who is wrong, there is problems and we need to deal with it and arguing about it in public makes both of you look ridiculous. I would prefer if any of you are going to make any more comments about this situation that you try to keep it to yourself or you can continue fighting but it won't make you look any more serious. I apologize for "yelling", this is just starting to annoy me.
*whew* I thought Matheus passed away irl. That freaked me out a little. But, why 'mourning period?' lol
He's definitely not dead. Though he is feeling much better after his surgery a while back and his real life is keeping him plenty busy. Mourning period was more of a joke, so we weren't just giving away the position as the door was still hitting him on his way out, but we definitely will miss him on the Staff Team.
I think I can see where Shel's coming from, and I think through sharing his thoughts and worries he's definitely... contributing. But, all I'll say on the matter for now is the following: Welcome, Alex and Fendy, I hope you'll be able to make some much-needed changes!

If they work in pair it brings synergy and mutual motivation. I think the key to their success is working in pair in the team leadership role - closely communicating, sharing all ideas and discussing all the milestones. So, not split the work in 2 parts, but work together on all parts. Also, big boost can come from the community if they involve everyone with postings in the forum and calls for opinions and discussion.

Perhaps not quite, a lot of the recent information and plans were actually written up by various other people. And we're still working on that list. The team has definitely had its problems in the past, and has had issues with motivation and inactivity, but there have been some very good contributing members and no doubt, you added a lot to the table yourself while you were on the team. I should take a moment to say thank you for your work, because you did contribute a lot! Getting to the point, I take into account that yes, the team needed a change. Here it is, this is the beginning of the changes and there are many more now to be implemented. This is a refresh, and we have the determination to get this team rolling. --- It's clear that before now, the team was not as good as it could have been, and was more of a "maintain" as oppose to "upgrade", and the blog was dead for a good while. There are many reasons for this, and one was simply that Matheus, the old leader, had to have surgery and was not around to help out like he would have wanted to. We'll miss Matheus on the team, but I hope you all as well as I can see that this new leadership is the start of something new for the team. Even though I've only been leader for a couple of days, I can already see that we are be going to doing a lot of upgrading, and going to be motivating people to work on some awesome stuff! As for having two leaders, I think it's a good thing. It can be a lot of work to do something like this on your own, the way the team is set up now means that we can share more ideas and be more creative. I can assure you that there is going to be a lot of communication between us, and we have already got a massive list of new things we want to look at and try out, with ideas from various different people, and we hope to keep adding to that as time goes on. This is something new for me, but I've been part of the team since the start and I for one am happy that I get to work on it in such a way now. Thanks to you all for the congratulations! Onwards from the past... into the future!
