Hi gang! The new month has already started in Europe and will take 6 more hours for it to reach EMC (consider this a sneak preview ), and because it starts with an 'A' I think it's time to pay some extra care and attention to all the alter-ego's which are running around Behind a lot of main characters stand a few alt's. What was an alt again? An ALT or 'alternate character' is basically another Minecraft/Mojang account but owned by the same player. And because the use of ALT's is perfectly legal on the Empire a lot of EMC players have one of more of them. So what's the use of an alt? Usages vary greatly. Some players use alts to keep 'chunks' loaded: if you leave an area then the server will unload it ("freeze" it) until a player gets back there. So say you're smelting a lot of iron then that smelting process would stall while you're gone. But have no fear: if another character is present near that area then everything will continue as normal. Enter the alt... Other players use alts to help them build stuff. For example: you're finally in a specific special location and you know exactly what to place next but... uh oh: out of emerald blocks, drats! But no fear: switch to another console, quickly grab the block(s) you need and if you're in the same group your alt can easily teleport to you using /gtp (I love that command!). And of course there's also the most common usage: if you have alts then you can grab a promo item several times. Alt appreciation? Well, after all that work without any pay wouldn't you get a little feel of under appreciation as well? That's why I figured... Alt appreciation, lets stand still for one second and appreciate all the hard (or passive ) work our alt's have been doing for us SO.... Do you appreciate your alts?

I feel bad for my alt... I have no clue what to do with his res o-o... But at least I can do a weird thing with my skins, where one is a direct invert of the other (and my profile picture on the forums). Which skin came first? The Alt or the Main? The answer might surprise you! You'll be shocked, then you'll be inspired!

I do appreciate my alternate account. I don't use it a whole lot, but I don't use my main account a whole lot either, so... I appreciate my alt for being able to participate in Combine your Username with the one above you, as my name isn't very suitable for that forum game. And I guess it's cool to be able to say I have more than one legitimate Minecraft account. Results: 7 vault vouchers, 3 stable vouchers, and several stacks of diamonds and emeralds.
I know that Aya is an alt account, but you keep talking differently as if to still put people off and act like a different person on it I don't like that because I know that it's an alt I do appreciate my alts, both quattro and MrFelixbile. I've had them both for quite a while now, and while I don't use them *that* much, they have come in handy on various occasions so I'm glad to have them!
