not everybody is into the same stuff or find the same things intresting. I like the building/creation part and the economy part (like alex), I also like the wild base thing too... but there are some things that others are into that I dont really like. For instance, everyone (at least the young kids) are all parkour parkour parkour... I dont see the point of endlessly jumping from block to block to block, but if thats their thing, ok. Casinos, bowling alleys, villiger races, "pool parties" ( yeah, totally dont understand that one..lets all stand together and pretend we're arent on a computer playing a video game...??)... these are all things that mostly dont intrest me, but if thats what others log on to do then more power to them. We dont all have to like the same aspects of the game. Oh, and if you want to see creations, just look around on the forums... I just posted a few threads (with pics) of some of my creations, you just got surf a little, you'll see lots of cool stuff.

you are correct JustinGuy was killed the last time ICC went on the TNT rampage a piece of sand fell and JustinGuy suffocated and was buried in the top most secrecy under the spawn in smp1 now only the moderators go around with /md p JustinGuy to make it feel that Justinguy was still alive jk now on topic- I do agree EMC isnt what I fell in love with anymore when I was new to EMC everyone was friendly there was no griefing at all (I lived 50-70 blocks away from spawn and never got griefed I think the server now is more quantity than quality EMC Is still the best server but I now have nothing to do I have my house I have my wild base I have my shop now what? I know Justin is making and preparing for the next Minecarft Bukkit change thing. also Aikar I mean I cant say I like him because the other moderators have done something for the community all I can Remember is when he made that wild safety guide when twitch1 is always with the MC news crazy1080 is like always just being crazy and he builds awesome creations on his spare residences what have no use to him and ismooch is the entertainer I could go on with the other mods but I hope to see more from Aikar soon but yeah I just feel that there should be more for the community to do in EMC like I mean there are so many events but all the good ones have been. thought the forums is still as good as it has been but its the servers what I'm not keen on anymore.
I'm sure all the mods are very busy behind the scenes... There's logical proof for this in the fact that more mods are being recruited, therefore there must be more work than staff, and all mods must therefore have behind-the-scenes things to do. Also, as you probably know, staff do leave, and therefore the staff that are still staff must be active, or they would have been "de-staffed".
I was just stating my mind I know they do have jobs and stuff I mean all moderators are great but I don't see much of Aikar on the forums he is more in-game in the wild
I was not saying everyone, was all for money , majority of what I see on the side bar for active forumns is aUCTIOn this and AUCTION that , I'd like to see "my little house " or my creations" I do see a few like I think it was d1223m who posted one of his amazing towers. And I asked for it to be positive and no comments like I don't care about money. I want something to make me go OMG I have to get oncEMC!!!!!
Good point about Aikar, but hes the one most people go to for wild help and about the king part, hes simply the one that most people do call king. I would really just like a wild related contest. NO, not like "The res that looks the most like a biome" contest, but a contest that is done IN the wild. It could be something like biggest base run by one person, or most far out base, or the best looking base. I would want these contests to be held by a mod, as they wont grief, we hope..

"hes simple the one that most people do call king" I've never seen anyone here at forums or even in chat calling aikar "king" i mean, "king" it's a word for Justin, for ICC, for shaunwhite or many other epic players, but aikar? No offense but it just seems too much to me. Also, yeah a contest in the wild would be nice and i really hope people has loads of cool structures there but it would be also very dangerous, maybe a risky one
In Aikar's defense, is it wrong for him to keep his bases top secret when it is already well-documented that we have a large number of griefers? The communities he builds (like eternia) are not just for him, they are for others to enjoy as well. If he were to disclose their location so that people would think he is being an active mod (which he is already) then he would ruin it for the members of the community engaged in his colonies. And he does nothing for the community? He, along with d1223m and others like Justin, are toying with the mob cap and mob spawning so that every player has a fair opportunity to get exp, even if they don't have a controlled spawner. If that's not doing something for the community, what is?
I guess your right. It seems every sever has its on "king/queen" of the wild. Well, not really a King/queen, but the go to person to get help from.
