  1. Using the quote button is broken for me for some reason
Anyway, in reaction to post #1182: that looks very nice! Those are actually built cars, right? Or some fancy computed rendering?

  2. Yeah, the forums were playing up earlier :)

As for the Audis, they've actually got quite a few built now and they've got people testing them! :D

  3. This Lamborghini Huracan is beautiful, and the curves and body shape are modern and absolutely stunning. Although a 2013 model, it still shocks me to this day. The notes on the startup and how it acts not too long after having it, aren't always positive, but it still sticks me in the side. The orange color on the car is stunning, not too bright, not too dark, especially gorgeous because my favorite color is orange.

    Interior:

Very modern and sleek, with a nice spot of color, although it would be orange in the selected car above. It's a black p/leather, with centered gearshifts and quick accessible buttons.

I would say more, but I don't own this car to give further detail

YES, i'm 11. (Car family stuff...)
  4. Also, this baby:

It's an ignition-orange dodge ram truck, exclusive.

My father has one, and he's going to pass it down to me at the time of age.

    It's just beautiful.

    No more,

but the startup brings tears to my eyes
    so beautiful
  5. I love the Lamborghini Huracan, definitely my favourite Lamborghini that's currently on market :) Flappy paddle gearbox, Audi engine, runs fast but very smoothly too! I'd love to have one. Anyone care to buy me one? :p

  6. That's one big truck! You're getting it as a first car then? That's crazy, we can't afford anything with an engine that big here in the UK on insurance, anything too high over 1.6 or so will creep into the thousands of pounds :p 2.2L Audi UR quattro (car in my signature) would cost me £5,000 to insure every year as a new driver, probably around $8,000? Either way, trying to insure something like that would be very expensive as a first car here, but I guess it is a lot different for you Americans, I know lots of people over there that get trucks and jeeps as first cars and so on

Insurance and your likely high insurance premiums too aside, it is quite good looking! I tend to prefer the Ford trucks over there, but Dodge are a decent manufacturer too and I'm sure that it will serve you greatly :)

  7. I like the Volxwagon passat
  8. That's fair enough, but may I ask why? :p

  9. Yeah, insurance pays for quite a bit here, and we're just not ford people.

My father also spread out how much we have to pay a month on it, and paid a bit down since he saved for it.

  10. Insurance is a lot cheaper over there, still not cheap, but the UK premiums can be really high for new drivers, best thing to get the money down is no claims bonus and you have to drive for years with no claiming on insurance to get even a half decent discount...

Yeah, spreading it out is a good way to pay, allows you to get a more decent vehicle c: I am a fan of older vehicles mainly though! :D

  11. Although not always the most fun to talk about, let's talk a little about safety. Safety on newer cars is very good - we have crumple zones, air bags, seat belts, safety glass, reinforced foot wells, giant a-pillars... But what about old cars?

I love older cars, but while they have their pros, one of their biggest cons is in the safety area. There are no crumple zones - the body in frontal impact will crumple into the engine, the engine will push back into the front of the car and ultimately crush your legs if the crash is hard enough. In a rollover, the a-pillars are weak and the roof will crush and will not stay like it would in a modern car. Some older cars don't have seat belts and most won't have any kind of air bag or safety glass since nothing like that was a requirement back then and the safety aspect hasn't been such a big thing until recently.

Would you still buy a classic car? Is safety high on your priority list when buying a car? Let me know some of your thoughts, I'd like to know :) I may add to this more later on, so watch this space, but please do feel free to quote me and add some thoughts!
  12. I FIXED IT! 1080P 60FPS HD VIDEO FOR ALL! It's taken a long time but it's finally all done...

Here it is! Peugeot 205 T16 around the Flugzeugring :)

Apparently there's copyright materials between :30 and 2:00 which is completely false so now I have to dispute that copyright claim... *sigh* Well, at least it works properly! :p

  14. Theres a big difference in quality, from the last one you posted. Sponsored by Simpsons... That the belts I use in the 34 Chevy & my 65 Chevy! (lap only no shoulder harnesses )
    Nice drive as well! :D

  15. Yeah, using higher quality, higher FPS, higher bit rate and also a better recorder! Glad you liked the driving too, always nice to have compliments on my style haha :p

Lap belts are useful for staying in place, doesn't keep you back though... Then again, my cousin's Golf Mk1 doesn't even have rear belts, and my friend's Land Rover Series I doesn't use belts and doesn't even use normal seats in the back! It has two benches, each seating two people. Don't do it, it's uncomfortable - no more than two in the back if you want to make it out with no bruises on your knees! :D
