Deja vu's and lucid dreaming

  1. Exactly because your brain has seen different enviroments, so it gets those moments lol
  2. I have had deja vu more than a few times. But I don't usually control myself in my dreams... though sometimes I can force myself awake.
  3. Oh, ok:p I think I'm pretty confusing, but what you people are saying interests me:)
  4. You know what's weird:
I one time dreamt the weirdest thing, my friend at school was wearing this stupid sweater that I never saw before, and I dreamt he was wearing and that he said "You look different." My reply in the dream: "Good different or bad?" Re: "Good." The weirdest part was, the next day this is exactly what happened. o.o
  5. i hate Deja Vu >.>. What I dislike the most is when I have Deja Vu for a situation which I had experienced deja vu before for. (if that makes sense)

In other news, I hardly dream

    Edit: remember my dreams

  6. That's pretty keen, dreaming about a sweater that does exist, but you have never seen before
  7. Sometimes I remember dreams for like 3 hours and then I can't remember anything, and sometimes I know I've been dreaming but I can't remember anything :/
  8. Forcing yourself awake is cool,I can do that during nightmares

  9. Funnily enough, I rarely have nightmares. I just have really weird dreams. One time I did battle with some zombies in a hardware store after watching two thieves in bulldog suits drown, another time the Were-Rabbit from Wallace and Grommit thingy popped up from behind a kitchen counter, and just yesterday I dreamed the IcC made every existing staff member admins. :p So why do I force myself awake? Because I realize that it's getting late and I want to get up and go do something. :)

  10. Yesterday I dreamed about a zombie horde and I destroyed it with a weird looking smg. They kinda looked like the zombies from battlefield heroes... lol

  11. Oh yeah, thanks. I didn't think of that. I do really dream less since I got my iPad from school:p
  12. Only 1/9 people have lucid dreams? :/
  13. Lol, you should have quoten olaf instead of me:p I don't know anything about that
  14. Lol sorry
  15. Hehehe, if you see what i see when my eyes are closed, you will see what you don't want to happen to any of your family. I dream so much stuff that tormented me since I was 4. All what happens in your dreams, happened or will continue happening in your life. I dreamed that I was being tortured for days( when I was having a minior surgery.). I dreamed that I got lost In a forest without food( I got lost with my cousin and a police officer for 14 hours.). I dreamed that I was losing someone because of the wind, 2 days before my dad had a airplane accident. I dreamed that some animals where living a house forever( 3 of my 7 dogs died the same year.). I dreamed like tons of déjà' vus. They are my life, they are my nightmares, they are a part and will allways be part of my life :D.
  16. Help. That sounds terrible. But that police officer that got lost with you sounds interesting in fact. What happened?
  17. We where hunting, and we got lost. The police officer is also my body guard :D.

  18. Hmm...I'd like to try some lucid dreaming. I can think of plenty of experiences I could live, because I'm at a point in my life where I am absorbed in my memories, where I'd rather reminisce of the remarkable past than live in the pale, currently uninteresting present.
  19. Kinda...
It registers a memory into where it stores your dreams, and when you notice that memory in a place, you brain is like "Oh hey, i've seen that before" and search your dream memory 'bank' and find it.
Sleep paralysis is when you can't move, because your dream thinks you're sleeping, but you're not. It lasts no more than a couple of minutes, but it's terrifying.
Lucid dreaming is controlling your dream - not knowing its a dream. Yes, you'll have to know what's a dream and what isn't to actually control it, but when you don't control it it doesn't count as lucid.

Also, I do reality checks in real life because I really want to lucid dream, but I never do them in my dreams :(
