It depends. A lot of languages have things based off Latin, but it has a lot different things you'll have to learn, cause in English you have like break - broke - broken. But in Latin you would have to learn the praesens, imperfectum, perfectum, plusquamperfectum, perfectum, perfectum exactum, et cetera(yes that's latin) When you do speak, or at least read Latin, I really like it. You'll understand a lot of words out of other languages, cause there are many, many words in many languages just straight token from Latin. It's also a beautiful and clear language. I would defenitely recommend you trying to find a way to learn it
