Okay today was my 2nd day and it wasn't that bad. I also figured out that I a that student that teachers like to make eye contact with.
Bring a bag of 1 inch marshmallows to school, and just eat them one day when they are watching you. They will pick someone else to watch after that.
Home schooled kids end up "weird" and are easy to mess with... (i'm not home schooled and will never be)
Thats not exactly the best stereotype to make. But some homeschooled kids are socially-awkward. But then again, the ones posting here are part of a community (us), so all thats necessary is an icebreaker for the situation (hell I need one and I have been in public schooling all my life).

I really don't see all the fuss about school. I'm a 4th grade health teacher and I assure you, us teachers don't bite! At a younger age, children don't actually see how grateful they should be by getting sent to a school - sure, it might be boring, but imagine if you never went to school: you wouldn't have the amount of friends you have today, you wouldn't know the difference between 'You're and Your' and you probably won't get too far in life without an education. Think of the poor people in Africa, they dream of going to school! A girl in Afghanistan got shot recently, just because she wanted an education. Your parents work very hard to sustain a healthy education and lifestyle - maybe once in a while, go up to them, and thank them for their hard work, they'll love it. You guys/girls at this age have a lot of opportunities in life, make the most of them! Pay attention in class; and I assure you, you will get somewhere in the future. I hope this hasn't come across too aggressive, but I hope there's a clear message, too.
