They only enforce the law, they don't stop crime. They end the violence that's already begun. And most of the time, they do a really shoddy job at it. I hate the police. Even though when I was 5, I wanted to be a cop.
My point is, if there can't be a one God that just existed from an athiest point of view...there can't be a beginning organism that just existed either. Every organism/animal/bacteria, would have had to have been created by something before it...it couldn't just have "been" a first one. If one claims there COULD be a first one, then they can't use that theory against there being an original God.
There's a theory that the bacteria was transported on meteorites, that then crashed into the Earth's oceans. Not exactly sure how the bacteria would have got onto the meteorites in the first place, though
But then who created the aliens? Also, judging from what Volt said about things being too complex too the point they don't exist, the creation of everything is very complex...which should mean everything doesn't exist... I've now come to an amazing conclusion: None of us exist. It's also official that the weirdest crap comes out of my mouth at 2 o'clock in the morning.
Haha. Exactly. If there is no God to create us, and it's impossible for there to be infinite amounts of anything...we don't exist at all. That's why I can't buy that side.
Who/what created the universe? What created the thing that made the universe? What created that thing? What created that thing. Times that by infinite...and suddenly my theory born from my insomnia isn't that weird at all
You could say it's a stable time loop.. the bacteria was created by us so we could create the bacteria Problem is, that's less believable than god.
I'm telling you man, it's aliens. We are simply an experiment and will soon be the horsemeat we're complaining about right now in England :3
From my point of view, time is just something humans created. There is no "age" of the universe. Maybe from the form of emptiness, energy was dispersed. That energy created matter and so on and so forth. However if you think too deep about the universe your head will start to hurt and probably explode, it hurts really. The reality is, there is no time, its just a entity we, as humans, created.
Neither do I :3 I think the person who came up with that theory was smoking some strange shrooms at the time.
Well, it's honestly just a counter-argument to those who do not believe there is a God but use 'he couldn't have "just" existed by himself'. Well, if he couldn't, either could the universe, and everything said from either side seems impossible. So, it becomes a matter of your faith at that point on whether you want to believe there is and always was a higher power, or that bacteria came from nowhere and somehow evolved into humans.
I do hope it offends no one, but I think religion is just a form of control over the people back then. Religion gave people hope and something to look forward to. But in reality, back then, it was just to make people work harder. But over time religion changed and its main purpose also changed. What we know now as religion is belief, belief that something/someone created us. But you know, humans, always think they're the greatest damn race ever. What happens if an alien race comes and destroys us all, then Aliens are the dominant race. Like SoulPunisher said, Aliens.
Well, if there's no real "time," then how would you go about explaining that time moves at different speeds at different places in the Universe? Heard of time dilation?
Everything came from an explosion that came from nothing creating little bacteria things that somehow came to a world that was created from an explosion that was created by nothing at a perfect distance for us bacteria to exist and thrive and that nothing became something and we somehow exist now. I know that's not a very accurate representation of what others believe, but I'm gonna stick with God.
I was kinda basing it off that picture haha, but I didn't bother searching for it. I've spent countless hours contemplating which just makes more "sense" and any way I think about it, the only explanation that works for me is that there is a God. Who created him? Why does he have to have been created? He just is.
Just because we're at the top of the food chain doesn't mean we can't get obliterated. The only reason why we're where we are now is thanks to weapons and our constant need for social interaction. Oh, and because we see little wolf puppies as cute so we steal them from their parents, then feed them and train them...and makes wolves comfortable around people. It's thanks to wolves liking us, because we feed them and increase their chances of survival, that we have survived.
