  1. One of the reason we became a country in the first place was because Britain tried to take away our guns.....and we all know how that worked out. :)
  2. I think that the best way to achieve peace is education and banning weapons. I know it is an utopy, but I see no progress in the allowance of drugs or weapons.
  3. Drugs are banned in many places yes? Yet people still get them like crazy. The real way to stop drugs and weapons is..... oh wait, no one has any idea.

  4. Why not controlling fists so fists can be used by normal people but not by idiots.
  5. America is hell right now. With the shooting in Colorado, and in Connecticut. There are others that I cant list. When will the government learn and take action? I think giving everyone guns would be a safer option than taking everyones away. At least if everyone has a gun, they can protect themselves from the idiots, if they don't, who will stop the idiots from harming people?

  6. Our world is fallen, and full of seriously messed up people. And know matter how hard we try to "fix" everyone, there will always be those who find need to take the life of another, for whatever sick, twisted reason the possess. These people will always be there, and we cannot rely on our law enforcement to stop them immediately. One person with a legal concealed weapon could have stopped the Connecticut shooting, or the Aurora theater shooting, etc. I would love a world where everyone could have peace and we didn't have to worry about protecting ourselves, or our families, from the worse side of humanity, but I really don't see that happening anywhere outside of Canada :D

  9. Explain what you mean. You keep saying education, what do you mean by this. It seems you are just saying an ideal and that means it's right
  10. Guns=Peace <- This is what you think, right?
  11. No, guns started all of this in the first place. We created them and thus making this mess, we need a different solution because we can't fix what we made.

  12. Isn't it an ideal allowing the use of guns because, if one person starts killing innocent people, someone will come and kill the murderer?

By education, I mean sensitizing the population about guns, restricting their use, and controlling who is using illegal weapons and who's obeying the law. I don't know what is the proccess to get a gun in the USA but if psychological tests aren't needed when getting a weapon they should be obligatory.
  13. Okay, towards the effectiveness of banning guns:
If you learned about the Prohibition in high school, think about how well that worked.

  14. Technically if emptiness did not exist then that would mean the cup is always full.

Also, if emptiness did not exist, then vacuums, and empty mass in the universe (outer-space) would be full - technically meaning space travel would be much more impossible, from objects hitting matter and atomic sized particles ... also the density of the atmosphere surrounding earth would be almost endlessly compressing the earth, which would crush us and we would not exist ...

Also in other theory, would mean the entire force of the universe would be pushing down on the cup .. and we could say it's 'always lipping full'

Emptiness will always, and forever more exist; not always in the same presence as yourself - but there will be void areas at times.

  15. Emptiness does not exist in our planet; this does not mean that emptiness does not exist, this means that the real emptiness is empty but in our planet there's air everywhere so the glass is COMPLETELY FULL of water and air.

Also, REAL emptiness does not exist in our universe.
  16. In case anyone took the wrong meaning from this sentence, this was supposed to say love, not leave :p

  17. Actually, this is not my opinion. I think that guns are terrible, they have the potential for heinous crimes, and are used frequently for them. However, we are stuck with them, they exist, and nothing we can do is going to stop that. I do think that it wouldn't hurt anything to increase what is required to legally obtain a gun, but I definitely do not think they should be banned. Allowing them to remain a defensive weapon will help keep some peace, but true peace will only be obtained in Heaven.
  18. I've heard of this AMAZING group called the police, who stop crime!
isn't that amazing? Have you heard of them?

  19. Okay, she just gave two examples of situations where the police were ineffective. They cannot be everywhere, and most of the time they can't prevent crime, only end it once the violence has already begun, or in this case once 20+ innocent children have been killed. However, if a large portion of the responsible public carry concealed weapons, they can be almost everywhere, and stop things far earlier.
  20. Common ancestors.
Apes and monkeys share a common ancestor. Amphibians and Reptiles, and fish, share a common ancestor. In the end, it all comes down to the ultimate "common ancestor", which was millions of years ago, and was a microscopic bacteria. For Monkeys:

And because this one makes more sense:
