  3. Welcome Aboard becsim1. If you see me in LLO please flag me down. I can give a tour (though to be honest LLO is so big now a tour would take a few in game days). If you need materials to get started on a home, let me know, too.

I should write a tourguide with coords for places and put in books for newcomers.

  4. Griefing report (Bit late though): Little Toronto has been badly burned. The tree farm is almost gone, Philo's tower was hit badly too, fire burned through the residential area, and that's all I saw. From the looks of it, the fire was set right before I got to northern LLO.
  5. Thanks. I still dont get your signature. ;) Where is Secret anyway?

  7. Thanks. Most of the damage was reported. I assume the damage in little toronto was the same griefers as it is near the already reported damage of the main treefarm.
Again if anyone needs funds for repairs just pm me. There are rupees left in the fund that we made after the first big griefing.

  11. I've just cleared the remaining lava from Philo Tower. Tenants may want to check their floors for anything out of place.
Use caution, as I have yet to replace the glass that is missing. The fall is still fatal! ;D
  12. Thanks but no need to add funds at the moment.
I post this every so often and so far no one has asked any of the fund money.
That is right. The fund is still untouched.
So putting more rupees into it at this point would be a waste of time and effort.
Really appreaciated but I'd rather give you some to buy materials and deliver it to damaged building owners.
Something like a repair squad? I could function as trustee for the fund.
So the squad reports damages and an estimate of costs for delivery and materials. Then contacts building owners, sets up chests etc. I will report on how the fund in on the financial side, aks for contributions if needed.
Nobody should take a fee or make a profit except maybe other people we might hire for stuff. Like a non-profit organization.

    What do you think?

  14. zulu, once again you come at us with another brilliant idea! I especially like the idea of using the funds to hire out for repair work, as personally I find it difficult sometimes to get in game enough to keep up on repairs myself. Sometimes even the time cost of gathering the materials alone is more than I have.

  15. Okay thank you for your kindness .

  16. the repair the LLO stuff could also be a good way to get new members.
"get paid to repair the LLO"
people will get in touch with LLO folk, know the place, get paid rupees to repair it.
I bet most of those will make at least a vacation home or toolshed at the LLO
and people that know people at the LLO and even have worked there are among the best kinds of new members

  17. We could help prevent greifings by two ways: looking at new people who join the LLO's join date, and what they have been banned for in the past. For the first one, its simple just /p the persons name. From experience, newer people seem to have a higher chance of committing a greif, so watching them for a bit can help. For the second one, we would just have to ask them out front, what have you been banned for.
